Complementary and Alternative Treatments for Alopecia: A Comprehensive Review. The question would be: do they act in any way differently than minoxidil, since there's really no point in doing the same thing that minoxidil does, considering how cheap it now is. But if they are additive and act by a different mechanism, then its worth the extra effort. Any conclusions on that? do the stimulants all act in the same, by increasing blood flow/vasodilation?
