Not using finasteride or minoxidil, what else is reasonably effective?

Well, the low-down is Minoxidil gives me palpitations, irritation and shocks across the body so I have stopped using that.

I don't really want to go on Finasteride due to personal health reasons and my doctor warned me against it.

I do use Nizoral but I know that alone can't do much. What could I use to block DHT as maintaining is my immediate goal. Is spironolactone any good; what are the sides?

I have Finscar arriving, but I don't want to mess around with it if it could exacerbate other issues I already have.

spironolactone can help you keep what you have. Sides are very very very rarely reported.

Thanks :)

I've seen it advertised on this website, but is it more expensive than minoxidil in terms of how long each unit costs and lasts? There are also 2 types aren't there? Which one is better?
