Yes she could, it surprises me to hear it's an expensive wig because it looks too unnatural and shiny, you can see it's not real hair from a mile's distance.

You were easily manipulated by such a miserable guy, you failed to realize how shitty he really is or you chose not to care at all and willingly stayed with him and suffered against your better judgment. I failed to see how he is yes, there were small sings along the way but I ignored them in the hopes of a better future. Yes that's probably being naive and stupid and I willingly admit it, although not everything is black and white. I considered him a true friend as he was one of the few people that were there for me during my hair loss nightmare and also my breakup with my other ex. Also, I wasn't perfect in the relationship either and made some stupid mistakes.

Being rational and cold and seeing things in black and white (and judging people accordingly) always allowed me to spot these people very quickly. Unfortunately pain is a harsh, but excellent master, I truly hope you learnt a lot from this experience and that you'll be more rational and cautious in the future. For your own good. It was the same for me, but with the people who humiliated me for my appearance for my whole life. we don't exist to be used and discarded by shitty people.

There are some good youtube clips about not wearing the wigs right out of box.
You have to do a lot to them before wearing them.
I would make sure i got either rooted color or highlights or color on color if I got a wig..
Something just to give it some dimension.

Well, I think if you go to a dedicate salon to get a systemn they know more or less how to blend it with your remaining hair (maybe less difficult than whenyou have areata. what maes her wig noticeable are actualy the eyebrows and nails). But it is no cheap, that is what concerns me. On the top of not knowing when I will have to make the transition to a wig, I don't kno if I will have enough money to have something good. But I think with tutorials, etc. maybe it s possible to achieve something acceptable anyway;

I have seen some good ones on youtube about wigs I can share with you when you are ready to look.

But I would do a weave first If you can.

I wonder if her eyebrows are micro-blade. A lot of areata people get that done.

I've learned my lesson. No matter how ''good'' you think a person is, if there's warning signs one should always be very cautious. I don't think he's a monster by any means, but he's flawed like most people are (some more than others). If he comes back when he's tired of this 37 year old woman I won't be standing with my arms open, to say the least. Anyway, thanks for these words.
