Thing is, put yourself in my shoes for a moment (scary I know xD)

Ok, my health was fine. Fiiiiine! Perfect! ^_^

THEN!

One day I have a terrible bout of stomach cramps, diarrhoea (sorry for the TMI), I faint, I can barely move it is so painful. Then this repeats at 1-3 month intervals, over.. and over.. and over. Horrible, no?

So I wonder what causes it, but assume it is simply undercooked chicken every time (ignorant! lol :) )

And then, my skin thins and goes really poor, it's hard to describe but the change was obvious, unhealthy, and rapid.

The digestive problems continue, of course.

Then, I get rapid, diffuse, inflamed male pattern baldness and increased body hair growth.

The digestive problems continue...

I cut egg.. they go away. I eat raw egg, they come back full flood. I eat cooked egg, they come back but not as bad.

So... I have outlined egg as the trigger for my poor health, nutritional deficiencies, digestive problems, and out-of-whack sex hormones.

What more can I say? That's my diagnosis lol

And the doctor agrees it sounds very possible it's egg causing the digestive problems :)

I reckon it's because I ate stupidly large amounts of mayonnaise and spoiled my body's ability to cope with it :(

dude, I cant eat eggs anymore except for whites, the yolks are what mess w/me real bad, no more eggs bennedict or runny scrambled eggs for me Usually if they are fully cooked Im ok, but between the cholesterol of the yolks and possibility of cramps and the runs I quit eating the yolks altogether

Decided on going 50mg of RU morning and 1.5ml standard minoxidil in the evening. :dunno:

perhaps and cut down sugars and use nizoral 1% eod.

if that doesn't work without sides I will call it a day on this hair loss battle

yes my head is itchy

sounds like a good plan, you may want to try some Dr Proctors Formula (cheap Prox-n) or Tricomin for the itching.

Been cycling both for about 13days and itching is gone.....

still no sides on 50mgs of RU per day, plenty of libido too :hump:

Ah ok I'm glad it's not just me!

So erm.. do you have any more insight into why this threw my body off so much?

The skin thinning I was saying in my head maybe I simply wasn't absorbing my nutrients properly. Then the hair, I was thinking that sex hormones might have been thrown out of balance by the lack of nutrients that would be required to keep them healthy and stable. Also I understand lacks of nutrients such as zinc has a connection to hair loss but I don't fully understand that yet.

I also feel I need a quick-fix regimen, as even if this approach does work, it's not going to do it overnight. At present I'm still losing ._.

Problem is I am always paranoid about this idea of making my follicles more sensitive. I would love to drench my head in Eucapil and then bung some Spectral RS on once a day for good luck (I'm not huge on minoxidil as I don't want to risk harming my skin/collagen, etc) but.. I don't know which antiandrogenic topicals result in increased AR sensitivity?

Other products I have in mind are Spectral RS, Tricomin, Revivogen, Nizoral, etc. As long as they are effective, don't make the follicles more sensitive and are not smelly or anything then I'm happy :)

Well unless you had stomach cramps so bad you couldn't move for 2 hours I wouldn't complain.

Cheers for the update Lakota :)

I read inlands story re tricomin, I like the idea that it conditions and stings a bit to begin with. I feel a good sting would be prefersble to this itchyness.

perhaps ill go RU am, tricomin midday and minoxidil last thing.

Hey dude how long untill you were free of finasteride sides. I still gotta take cialis to get morning chubs and though ED has diminished I still don't have much libido and I think my little pal has shrunk a bit.

Anyway i've quit masterbation to purge myself.

Thinking of giving sustain alpha a shot

Ta

after dropping finasteride I noticed more ejaculate in less than a week, then I noticed better "wood", especially in the AM in about 2 weeks, and an increase in libido in about 3 weeks. I just feel better overall too....

I dont get any sting from tricomin BTW

were you eating the yolks uncooked or partially cooked like in Eggs Benedict?

If you were then like me then you were probably getting essentialy food poisoning/ salmonila. or your body just changed like mine. I have a 1 in 10 chance of getting ill from eating cooked yolks, 10 in 10 chance w/ runny yolks, and 0 in 10 if I eat fully cooked whites...go figure

I wonder if dousing the scalp w/ Fluridil one day a week, maybe 3 or 4 vials would do anything or would it be a waste? (vs. using as directed)

My stomach/digestive system throws a strop now if eggs go anywhere NEAR it, as far as I can tell. I have dropped them (as well as 99.9% of gluten and dairy) from my diet, and so far so good! I am of course not doing this just for my hair, but because the other problems I had were unbearable and I am so happy I may have worked out what the cause was. The digestive problems like I say I have had for a few months longer than my hair loss I think.

I will pop to the docs soon too :)

Oh, actually I lie a tad. I do actually find that a microwaveable meal that had egg-fried rice, thoroughly cooked in the microwave, did not seem to give me any problems, that I remember. I was eating them very often before I came to outline eggs as my possible intolerance. I wonder/think that whatever I am reacting to was thoroughly destroyed by the intensity of this cooking process?

lol I'm sure you understand that I am saying I am reacting to something in egg that most people would not :)

All my eggs for 14 months? lol

To be honest I just really, really hope I'm right. I haven't had the crippling stomach pains since I dropped mayo / raw egg, and I have now dropped all egg completely to see if my gut starts acting totally normally again :) I can eat large bio yogurts or large amounts of bread without obvious consequence I believe, although I try to avoid both. Egg seems to be the killer for me atm!

Speaking about AR- bockers; there was this guy who posted on this site a while ago; saying he wanted to try androcur for hairloss.

Now this is an extremely potent drug; the sort of drug you take to "cure" hypersexuality, deviant sexual behaviour and if you want to be a woman. That's right; male to female transgender patients take this drug. It acts on the HPT- axis (the hypothalamus to be more specific, I believe, lowering GnRH- but I might be wrong) I ADDITION to blocking androgen receptors. Serum testosterone effectively drops to trace amounts- and voila: you are chemically neutered.

There are way, way, WAY more powerful stuff out there than spironolactone or flutamide; even RU: but it's generally not a good idea to experiment with. Not even rubbing it on your head.

(speaking of friends: I have a whack friend who tried to take contraceptive pills for a month to see if it reduced his hair loss. It didn't, but he seemed to cry a lot, and his tits REALLY started hurting...)

I have first hand experience on how well Androcur, Estrogen and Finasteride work for restoring your hair (and boosting your cup size)...
