OK think im getting the full finasteride post crash please help after mental sides below

didnt have a clue what had happened at first,,,went to see local Doctor who done a set of bloodwork on me,,,couldnt find anything wrong so sent me to a urologist for a prostate exam then to a couple of endocronologists,,,i was told bluntly not to come back as there was nothing they could do for me and maybe it was all in my head,,,i had about 5 lots of bloodwork done and everything came back within range,,,this is a a simillar story ive heard loads of times from guys who have been ruined by finasteride,,,whatever it is cant be found by doing blood tests...................

maybe they were right? If a whole plethora of doctors and consultants couldn't find anything physically wrong with you, maybe go to see a therapist/psychiatrist and see if they can help

i had a feeling that was going to be your next post,,,there are two studies going on as we speak in two of americas elite medical institutions into why finasteride is causing permanent sexual side effects in men,,,i think maybe if someone had said to me in the first few years i was taking finasteride that i would end up with very serious side effects if i didnt stop taking the stuff i might have been a bit sceptical about what they were saying,,,this is certainly not in my head my friend,,,i was a happy healthy man of 32 when one day my system crashed,,,i have been in a living hell ever since,,,i am just a normal guy who works in the costruction industry,,,i have no agenda or hidden reasons for trying to warn people of the dangers of this drug,,,other than hoping it might save a few people from ending up like me........................

I shouldn't jump the gun and dismiss your story. If you are suffering with sides, I am truly sorry to hear that. I am not saying you are lying at all. I don't know you at all so who knows? I just have an issue with your claim that all was fine, then one day you crashed hard. How is this even possible? It doesn't make sense really. I just don't think the body works that way. I could see if you had sides and kept taking the drug, but how do you go from doing fine, to all of a sudden feeling like ****? I just do see how a part of the body could pretty much not function when the previous day everything was good. We have some medical experts on this forum that would know better than I would, maybe they can chime in with a possible explanation...

zero, you might well be right, but if you've exhausted all possible physical explanations and you're still suffering, I would have thought it's at least worth a try to see some kind of therapist/psychiatrist. Or some other alternative treatment like hypnotherapy/homeopathy
