one commonality I have seen with Norwood 1 guys: early greying

Of course it's just a small sample size, but I have seen a lot of guys who have perfect Norwood 1's go grey(not fully but noticeably) into their later 20s, early 30s.

The problem is easier to solve, I guess you can just dye your hair, but this is annoying to do on a regular basis I'd imagine, plus you have to keep using more and more.

It is kind of an obvious sign of aging just like male pattern baldness, I don't have any greys yet but when I start to see them it would kind of be yet another sign that "youth is over".

Anyway, not really a big deal just something I have noticed.

I have to say I doubt that this is true ^^ I think people with a lot of hair miniaturization look like they have more grey hair. So I think people with awesome hair genes probably look less grey. So I think your observation is probably explained by the small sample size or something.

Or maybe the greying of NW1s is simply more visually striking and noticeable because they have a lot of hair.

I know this guy who was greying in high school

Now his hair is mostly grey (still NW1) and I look 2+ decades younger than him lol

Made me rethink the whole "greying early isn't even bad" thing, balding is still worse though of course

I am trying to think what looks weirder, a young face with Norwood 6 shiny head or a full head of grey hair in your twenties.

Anyway especially if your beard greys young as well, you just look like an anomaly.

I'd say NW6 + young face looks weirder than grey NW1 + young face, you at least have hair and a good hairline like it's expected to have when young, though your hair is in a color that is associated with aging. Baldness already looks quite weird in itself and also ruins the framing of your face, and then there's the horseshoe on top of that which is very associated with aging. Add that on a young face and it just looks abnormal.

Early greying is not bad at all imo, NW1 with greying is set as 'aging like a fine wine'.

I know a guy who is 23 and NW2-3 and mostly grey on both head and beard lol

His beard and eyebrows actually aren't greying
Also the front middle part of his hair isn't grey (might be dyed but I doubt it)

He's also tall and athletic with blue eyes

Looks like a handsome middle aged dad lmao

It's weird to imagine that. My transplanted hair is pretty dark, and compared to the colorless, miniaturized crap I had on my head earlier, it's like I turned back the clock 10 years by looking in the mirror now.

Have you considered having another transplant in the near future (1 year) with a good, but relatively cheap surgeon like Demirsoy to get even more hair?

Since you're maintaining with Finasteride anyway might consider getting the best hair you can

No, I'm not going for hair perfection, since the surgeon I went to is booked for like 2 years I'll just wait until another spot opens up and go back.

No one really cares too much about your hair in such great detail, as long as you have a decent hairline you aren't put in the bald category, and your looks go up a few points looks wise.

I've slowly lost ground on finasteride as well, I just started balding too young and too aggressively, and I wasn't going to go on dutasteride to stop it.

By the time I started taking it, too much hair already started miniaturizing and it was only a matter of time before it was gone.

Literally at the age of 22 to 24, I went from Norwood 1 to pretty much diffuse nw6, with no family history of balding.

Brutal. I'm convinced that we go bald much earlier than our ancestors. I also have a great family history and I'm a diffuse NW3 at 22

Yup I think you're right, there are a lot of modern day factors that can accelerate hair loss, trigger the gene faster, etc.

Drop sugar and refined carbs. There's such great difference when it comes to hair quality, dandruff and itch whenever I drop them. Also limit masturbation to 3-4 times weekly at most, it's boring anyway and p**rn is sh*t
