I think the main issue with all this inserting stem cells stuff is that the scalp environment with most people will really limit what effects it can have. They will likely start struggling for the same reason their follicles are already degraded big time - because inflammation and the bodies response to that with DHT and IL-6 and all the other stuff that destroys the environment over time. I guess a few people it might have a real nice affect - probably the same ones that the environment is still good enough to allow minoxidil etc to have a nice effect on them.

Valid point for most of these laboratory experiments. But we have to start research somewhere.. The problem is males have 24/7 DHT damage.. How do we regrow hair in a damaging environment…The approach are to somehow supercharge hair growth hoping the plusses outweigh the negatives.. In this case it’s to regenerate completely new follicles.. But like a transplant DHT will start degrading them..

Because they haven't yielded results, and perhaps it's due to what Lawton pointed out: the environment is very degraded. Just think of the number of bald scientists and the laboratories that exist.

Yep and unlike a transplant there isnt a good environment being imported in that will usually last some years before degrading a lot on some people. My opion is working on cleaning up the environmènt (fibrotic skin etc) and then an approach like PP405 or the fatty acid stuff to charge up the existing stem cells may be the better approach overall than inserting new stem cells. I do wonder if in some frontal balding though whether the body is resistant to restoring a decent hairline though so maybe this approach could work better there than the vertex area. It seems to me in some people after a certain amount of years the body starts treating the former hairline area as if its part of the forehead now and wont try to restore it.

What is your view on the stuff that charges the follicle stem cells? PP405 and the fatty acid stuff. The fatty acid stuff if it keeps up on me being delivered with DMSO looks to be a mini miracle so far (I dont use finasteride or minoxidil) but I did work on cleaning the environment up for a long time before I started using that. My thinking is a pretty bad environment would definitely reduce the effects some but a few people might still get pretty big results.

I think that sebaceous gland is vital for a healthy hair. There is no hair without an associated sebaceous gland. Another issue is the possible use of stem cells when hair is transplanted. Respect cleaning issue it is important eliminate hardened sebum around hair.

As far as cleaning the environment up I think it was 2 things that really did most of the grunt work. The 1st thing that purged out a lot of stuff was mixing pure DMSO and magnesium oil 50/50 together and lathering my scalp up with it for a couple hours rubbing it in more periodically - do this about every 3rd day.. Do it until you reach a point hardly anything is coming out anymore the days afterwards a couple of times straight.

I use a shot glass to mix and cotton balls to apply the stuff.

After you reach that point mix pure 100% rosemary oil at 20% with pure DMSO 80% and do the same thing until you reach a point hardly anything is purging out the days afterwards. This will really attack that vèry hardened fibrosis the earlier step has a hard time dealing with.

I wasted time with the other crap I tried. These 2 things in order was what worked for me as a vertex balder. Hit your whole scalp though because the frontal may have some stuff also. Keep applying to whole scalp even if only certain areas are purging stuff.

If you are like me you will think the purging is your top layer of skin peeling off but its actually crap purging out of your scalp. Mine was coming out like real little bacon strip size stuff at first it was so bad. Also I didnt even wash my scalp until the next morning and just used an old pillow case to sleep but if its on like 2 hours that is probably good if you wanted to wash it out before bed. DMSO when a good amount is applied takes a while for all of it to absorb even though the first part of it absorbs in like a few minutes.

How long ago did you do this and has you scalp loosened up since you did this, I mean is the skin along galea feeling less 'tight' and more stretchy/soft? Also has there been anything else changed or signs of additional growth (sorry not sure if you were slick bald or diffuse)

I fìnished up with this about the same time I began applying the taiwan fatty acid research stuff with DMSO that charges up the follicle mitochondria. I think that was aroùnd Feb 9th. As far as loosening my scalp i did head massages quite a bit but I am convinced taking MSM was the main thing that loosened it up big time as I was about 6 weeks into taking 2 - 1500 mg pills each day and literally overnight it was just really pliable at that point and has been ever since. I did start doing the DMSO and magnesium oil about the same time so maybe the DMSO was involved also - I think some DMSO breaks down into MSM also when applied. I no longer even need to do massages and my scalp remains very pliable.

Yep new growth big time since starting the fatty acid stuff. I am a NW4 mostly vertex only balder. The bald spot gròwing now was prettÿ good sized. I had very slight diffuse up front but intact hairline that corrected itself with the purging.

Weren't you afraid to play with such a highly concentrated DMSO solutions (50%+)?
And why did you choose magnesium oil and rosemary oil to start with? Is it to reverse calcification and fibrosis?

Ì got the DMSO magnesìum oil idea from a pretty old thread on another hairloss website. Cant remember whìch one. I experimented wìth other things but that worked the best. As far as the rosemary oil DMSO combo I lucked out because I kept trying ascorbic acid and citric acid DMSO combo not making progress thinking the last really hardened stuff remaining was just hardened calcium salts over the years but I wasnt getting much results. I then said screw it I will try and get some growth going and rosemary oil combined with DMSO sounded interesting to me. I applied it a few times and nothing crazy happened then on the 3rd application or so it was like a dam broke and the pain was pretty crazy and the crazy vasodilation went on for like 9 or 10 hours and I could finally see ìt was a crazy amount of hardened fibrosis.
