For a NW2 or even a 3, there is certainly hope.

To become Norwood 0? I dont really think so. I would say that where ever you are on the scale you have a good chance by improving 1 point (NW3 to Norwood 2). If you are REALLY lucky you will improve 2 points (NW3 to NW1)

I said hope, meaning hope for improvement. Not to become a Norwood 0.

It also depends on your level of response. I would say I've moved down half a Norwood class. I'm sure there are better responders than I - see: SeattleRock.

the cutting edge boys
Rich, there is nothing "cutting edge" about those guys. They are just incredibly bold and willing to put any chemical on their heads, irregardless of lack of safety or efficacy data. Thats not cutting edge, its the antithesis of wise. For someone like yourself who claims he even got stretch marks on his butt cheeks (7 months ago, public forums) as a side effect from Propecia, Id think you and I agree there's a big difference between being "cutting edge" and being stupid. Safety and side efx data is important to have.

Nearly all the doctors in the united states that know about our site emailed us with concerns that we were promoting Avodart for hair loss before it had been fully tested, when it first came out. Several emails reprimanded us as not being responsible with our users. "How can you advocate use of an off label product when we dont even know how safe it is for younger men to use for hair loss?"

This is the kind of logic we get from the medical community, and we're actually extremely "lax" compared to them. By a huge percentage. Yet we're still considered "conservative". Be glad we don't think like an actual licensed scientist does because there wouldn't be anything allowed on this site other than Propecia and Rogaine, period. :)

If promoting Avodart for off label use as a hair loss treatment is considered dangerous by the medical community, then a site allowing rampant promotion of dumping unknown chemicals on people's heads completely void of any safety data whatsoever would be considered downright destructive.

I guess I dont consider that being "cutting edge". The term has a positive connotation.
