Hello I am an 18 year old male from York, England. I first noticed that my hairline was receding when my girlfriend make a light hearted joke about it when I was 17. If you saw me you probably wouldn't even think I am suffering from hair loss but I am, and my right temple is a worse than my left one. I started on Min New York's shampoo range and I feel this has really helped my hair; as this is all i have been using I can't say whether it has maintaiend what I have or im just receding very slowly. All I know is my hair has got a bit thicker but this may have been due to a Telogen Effluvium which i experienced last year (its so hard to tell what is responsible for what eh guys?). Anyway I have been taking a multivitamin once a day which includes zinc, biotin, iron, vitamin c, folic acid etc.
I was going to take the plunge and purchase Min New York's Agent which claims to be more effective than the foam however due to lack of reviews and lack of Min getting back to me when I sent them an e-mail I will use the good old foam soon. Am very nervous about taking this plunge since my hair is quite good but I am one for taking risks. I will update when I start using it. I am also thinking of purchasing saw palmetto tablets as they seem ideal and I will eventually buy a lasercomb. If things go well I will just use these. But if thigns start to spiral downwards I will consider Eucapil and when I am around 23 I may even take the Propecia route. Also I see no reason why I wouldn't get a transplant with Armani and go the follicle cloning route in the future. Probably will purchase Rogaine in about a month or so and will update then. Ok bye for now.

I know you don't want to hear this, but you must get on propecia.A.S.A.P

your only 18 years old and your losing your hair already, you don't have the option of waiting til your 23 because it will be too late then

I hear what you are saying but I think my hair could survive to when I get to 22 years of age if I use Rogaine, saw palmetto (i have no idea why this isn't spoken of more on this forum - it inhibits both alpha thingys like dutasteride unlike propecia which only blocks one kind.. also saw palmetto no side effects and cheaper - years supply for under a tenner); eucapil and lasercomb. I haven't even started using any of these yet. I plan on taking the plunge with rogaine soon and then will start to build up my regime. I don't want to take propecia when my body is still changing.

Well judging by no reply from you concerning Finpecia I can see that these drugs are more trouble than they are worth. I mean what kind of pharmacy sells you drugs without a pescription.
Ok now for my update: I bought some green tea today and intend of having a nice refreshing cup of green tea every day. I will soon buy saw palmetto tablets. Around two months I will purchase Rogaine Foam. If the hair loss progresses I will buy fluridil.

I am preparing - by taking necessary steps. Going for topical antiandrogens and oral saw palmetto. Then If I see worsening I may jump on finasteride and eventually get a transplant with Armani; then follicle cloning.

person, I wouldn't put too much faith in Saw Palmetto. The jury's still out on how effective it is at reducing DHT. There's only a few studies on it and I seem to remember that many of them contradict each other. I even remember reading that the mechanism by which Saw Palmetto works is quite different from finasteride, and so may not help at all for hairloss. Then again i think there were other (small) studies suggesting otherwise. The point is, you're taking a gamble. I wouldn't gamble with my hair. At least we know finasteride works - though you could claim that it might not work well enough.

Best of luck anyway.

My main attraction to saw palmetto is that there seems to be hardly any negative qualities of taking the herb. So my this view I am not doign my body any harm. I am thinking of Eucapil and spironolactone though.

There arn't any negatives with Saw Palmetto but then there arn't any positives either, its way to mild and likely no effect.

I took it for 4 months and no effect at all. Not that I am responding to finasteride either but a good percentage here do so its on of the best chance you have and easier than minoxidil to keep up forever more. Just start with a small dose which is still very effective...eg .25mg which is what I am taking. Works out cheap too.

Best to get on meds before you consider hair transplant as it prevents shock loss and if it does slow loss down for you then your hair transplant will last longer before you need a top up. Thry and stay off the hair transplant tho if you can as we sould know about HM this year as to how much longer before it could be released.

Re: Person's stroy

Ok so I ordered Merk Propecia and a years supply of Rogaine foam, why haven't I started my regimen yet? Because I met this georgeous girl. I found out that I took her virginity and now I can't take the risk of taking finasteride in case my equipment malfunctions (I already have psychological trouble getting it up). I think my plan will be to have sex a few more times and really try and make it enjoyable for her - hopefully she will fall in love with me (sometimes girls do tend to during their first time) and then I will start taking it along with Cialis or some sh*t.

Re: Person's Story Pics as well

Ok so my girlfriend decided we should split. I was so upset and angry it motivated me to start my regimen. I have started Propecia and Rogaine Foam on my temples as of today. These pictures were taken under a flash and my hair is wet with gel here just to show you the worst possible state of my hair. If these drugs don't work ... I will get a transplant - I don't care that I'm not even 20 yet, the fact is I can always get the donor hair re-transplanted to another area and then hope that Intercytex get off their f*****g backsides.
