Also , now that my temples are receding and have noticeably in the last year … will I find my hair falls out / recedes dramatically from here on in?

You think the loss will still be rapid considering I’m 35
It sucks but the time you start balding doesn't determine how aggressive it is. There is a correlation but I'm in a similar boat. I didn't even worry about hair loss in my 20s and thought I avoided this curse only to notice it at 30. Got on finasteride and it only slowed it down. My temple areas have thinning that is slowly thinning more.

Now, granted, the rate is very slow and I noticed after 1 year I've had improvements on the crown and midscalp. The hairline is tough to save and unfortunately it is what frames the face. It is why the vast majority of surgeries are for hairline recession.

I just cover it up with a fade for now but down the road I may need to get surgery.
Have you noticed continued hair loss? Maybe you need to move up on the dose to .5mg a day (your profile says .25mg, I did that when I started).

Do not listen to these aggressive people who have no idea about the norwood scale and come up with their own scales. Yes, you have some minimal thinning, about Norwood 1, but no more. Take finasteride and that should last for many years. You can do a small transplant, up to 1000 grafts, and get a perfect norwood 0.

Norwood 2-2.5 is what Michael from GTA 5 has, you are far from it.

Thanks … I do think theres a lot of thinning across the entire hairline and a small m shape emerging however I don’t know what’s considered ‘matured hairline ‘ and what is balding….or early stages … Being 35 I’m at that crossover point …

You can go to a trichologist and do a trichoscopy to know for sure if there is miniaturization or not. It looks like there is some minimal thinning, although overall your hair looks great.

Thanks . Yes I’d agree with the thinning… I may do the trichologist thing as I would like to determine how fast things may project now . Some say as im 35 it will probably stabilise like this until 50s however it seems that it’s got thinner since turning 34 so who knows…

He’s clearly balding aggressively and needs to hop on bicalutamide, estradiol, CPA, dutasteride, oral minoxidil, oral RU, etc.
