In general, start with Bicalutamide first? What kind of advise are you giving 20 year olds who are too scared to take finasteride? This is ridiculous.

This guy should be starting with finasteride, period.
I also started with Finasteride. And that was a mistake, because he never helps those who started to go bald at an early age. I was wasting my time. The same goes for Dutasteride

Don't repeat my mistake, DHTcel's mistake, everyone else's mistakes. Start with adequate treatment, or drink Finasteride and go on baldness

The harsh truth, but you have 2 options:
1) Over time, you yourself will come to what I said and begin a normal treatment
2) you will go bald
Good luck lol.

Chronic insomnia I sometimes have. I used to stay up very late doing gaming or reading my iPad which was a bad idea...

I find a potent strong CBD oil I use makes me very relaxed and knocks me out in a higher dose...
Even better than my beloved sativa? I do actually have some smokable CBD somewhere that I bought by accident, lol.

I started losing my hair at the exact same age as this guy, started finasteride, and still had the EXACT same hair at 27. Stop generalizing and assuming that everyone has the same problems as you and recommending them more dangerous and extreme treatments before they even try the basics.

Have you interviewed this person? Have you spoken to him about his treatment? I asked specifically that people not come on here and rile things up for the fellow.
I don't need to speak to him, he put a thread up right there and specifically stated he hasn't even tried finasteride because he thinks it's dangerous. What more do I need to know?

Again off-label use. Not to mention you are forgetting that a doctor again, would be prescribing, someone far more qualified to make such determinations.
It's not off label use lol, what are you talking about. It's approved in Japan and Korea for hairloss.

When did I recommend any dangerous treatment to anybody? Again, dude, you have no idea what you are talking about. I have been on finasteride and duta forever. Where do you get these ridiculous ideas that I am one of the anti-finasteride guys. I don't hang with them and I try to avoid them. I am all for dutasteride, which I take and finasteride which I took until last year. I take min too, both oral and topical.

If you mean a GP kind of free NHS doctor we have in the UK. Who are almost absolute crap.
NO, you wouldn't get hair loss meds from them, you'd get fobbed off with antidepressants instead.

A hair specialist maybe...

Well, the point is the same. I do not practice medicine, on here or otherwise. I hope that he gets good medical care and normally I might have said an endo but his scalp appears to need immediate attention and it might be hard to get to see an endo. I do agree that many dermatologists don't seem to be on the cusp of modern treatments.

Trans folks wait years to see a doctor in the UK. Strange, in the U.S. we have a vigorous free health care system and you can see an endo really quickly. A lot of my acquaintances in the UK are forced to import meds. I think one person said that there was a 12-year wait.

Yeah anything like that is best done privately in the UK...
Sadly I'm not rich, but not that poor either.

Even chronic illnesses I've had years I get no where with UK doctors...

Captain Bligh. Now these days back in the day were a bald man's paradise. That wig must have gotten hot in Tahiti.

I can say one thing: everything I had to, I said. Now everything depends only on you, OP. I, too, was once afraid of Bicalutamide and HRT, but over time I realized that Finasteride and Dutasteride are powerless, and these methods of treatment are not so dangerous, since they are used for HRT. I am leaving this thread. I do not argue with fans of Tressless and Dr. Rassman, but I always give a chance.
Obtaining bicalutamide is insanely hard and pretty much impossible. It is easier to find tren where I live.

You shouldn’t use that for your hair. Stop arguing semantics. Castration is an off label use if you value your hair too, should he go to a doctor who will be performing the operation to chop his balls off? OP stick to the big 3. Finasteride will work. If you get sides lower the dose. It’s so simple, and crazy people giving advice to young new people is always annoying to watch.

I’ve been on finasteride for 2 years. Completely held my hair. Zero side effects. It’s been around since the 90s with a great and proven safety profile, and is very effective. Idk why these nut jobs want to mess around with experimental topicals with no studied safety profile, it’s wild. Again OP, try finasteride, 99% chance you don’t get sides, and If you do, you can stop taking the medicine or lower the dose.
