I used to think similarily. However, too many scientist go bald and hate it just like we do. All it takes is a handfull of them and big companies know that. Hiding working technologies has never worked for long. Even if new info was suppressed in the USA and Europe, clinics operating elsewehere would have tremendous results and thus pictures, downloadable video, etc........which would force a change.


Baldness is being worked on pretty hard. At any rate, with the big 3 plus nutrition.......you can safely stave off baldness for a good 8-10 years unless youre genetically a real cueball. Buys some time man, and root for the researchers.

No Elijah i have a BA hons degree and an MA. I am just pointing out to you that so far he has been proven correct in his statement from 13 years ago. What he says makes perfect sense as the premises of his argument have proven so far to be true what you are saying is based upon a deductive fallacy.

I was a lurker in 2005. I was probably a Norwood 1.5-2. It's been 13 years and I am now a Norwood 2.5. My grandfather was NW6 and my younger cousins are already NW7.

Some of these men probably went fully bald and stopped posting. However, many of them got fed up with the negativity on this board. Others stopped caring so much about their hair loss. Finally, others got frustrated with the lack of progress towards a cure.

It will happen to most of the current posters as well. It's a shame because we have a huge problem with brain drain. This forum is like the plot to Mass Effect.

This forum is disheartening. So many of you throw insults out for practically no reason, it's really obvious how balding has made you into a sad, angry, spiteful person. We are all brothers fighting against this feeling of learned helplessness and yet some of you will insult the only sympathizers with horrible names at even the slightest sign of differing opinions. It really shows the type of people you are on the inside, maybe it's not the balding that makes you ugly? If you disagree with someone, you can do so respectfully and create discussion.

And if you don't think big pharma is profiteering off of you, well, hopefully you lose that ideology one day. It's not even a "hair loss" debate, it's about blood pressure, opiates, hyperthyroidism, acne, and other chronic ailments that your average sheep will pay top dollar for an immediate pill to fix instead of fixing their internals. Ask yourself how many people you know in your social circle that are taking at least one pharmaceutical.

i know that big pharma takes us all for mugs and profiteers of our misery (and this dumbass "war on drugs" helps them make massive profits off of corrupt politicians) but i don't think there is a big conspiracy to keep a hair loss cure away from us.
min+finasteride are small fry drugs and there are even generics now, so i bet they make a tiny tiny fraction of big pharma's profits. i'd say 10% of bald guys at the very most opt for treatment.

compared to the huuuuuge profits any company will make if they release an actual cure which I bet 90% of bald men would buy.
plus, even if merck etc have a cure and are keeping it from us, so they can continue to make profits off of male pattern baldness.
aderans or intercytex aren't seeing a single dollar of that profit, so why wouldn't they release a cure if they have one?

if there is a conspiracy, you will be able to tell by Merck and all the other pharma firms, buying up small research companies like intercytex and immediately shutting them down.
