I'm using things that are proven. It makes sense to use the proven things first, then if they don't work, try the unproven ones. The opposite approach is foolish. I'm using 5% minoxidil (proven), 2% Nizoral (proven), dutasteride (FDA trials showed it worked to combat hair loss, but Phase 3 trials were never completed for marketing reasons), copper peptides (proven), and the Lasercomb (proven to thicken hair, suspected but not yet proven to regrow hair). All of these have far more proof behind them than Procerin or any other oral supplement containing saw palmetto.
Once I got off Procerin and got onto proven things, my hair started to regrow. In six months I have regrown a significant amount of hair. I'm a good responder, yet in a year on Procerin I regrew nothing.
Where do you get your statistics of 100,000 vs 100? Please provide a link or a reference. If you don't, then I know that you are talking out of your ***.
Of course things come to light after clinical trials are conducted sometimes. Vioxx did what it was supposed to do, and that's what the clinical trials proved. Unfortunately, it also did some other things. The other things that it did didn't invalidate the results of the trial.
Oral saw palmetto doesn't work. We know that for sure. The main ingredient in Procerin is saw palmetto. Therefore Procerin doesn't work, not only for me, but for everyone. You could get as good a result using a placebo. The fact that some people think it works is no more evidence that it does than the fact that the placebo effect is real and well-known. Some people think the earth is flat too and that people have never been on the moon, that it was all a Hollywood stunt.
Experimental doesn't mean stupid, nor does it grant a license to scam.
