Most men with hair loss just recede slowly over decades

So they just naturally attribute the decline in looks to getting older

20 years old with NW0, skinny, no beard
Vs.
35 years old, NW2.5 max yet no visible thinning and little/no crown loss, more mature face, full beard maybe, and muscles.. plus more money due to a successful career, wife, kids.. seems natural and even an improvement in some ways

So yeah normally it's not a big deal. But for guys with aggressive balding like me @Isaac Newton and @goku_black it is

It's not ideal of course but balding is not the end of the world
Yeah that's what I said in the OP lol.
And in general I don't think most people care extremely much about hair loss, most people just have slow hair loss over decades, so there isn't as much of an "urgency" to treat it (if my hair loss was super slow over multiple decades I'm not sure I'd care as much as I do now). For people with fast aggressive hair loss there can be more of that urgency, but then the above applies, and people in general have a tendency to bury their head in the sand and just ignore problems, and then whaddya know they're bald. Life of course isn't over when bald, but they will still have lost a big part of their identity and ended up looking worse than before due to baldness.

You really think people wouldnt be seeking a treatment if it noticeably hurt their dating chances?

perhaps you underestimate how long men can live in self-delusion. it took me a year and a horrible buzzcut to finally come to terms with what was happening and start acting. many men put their heads in the sand and when they pull it out the battle has already been lost

moreover men are learned that worrying about their appearance is unmanly, despite being judged as harshly on it as women — and sometimes even more. for men beauty should be effortless

Most don't even notice it because they're retarded. And if they do notice it early enough, their retarded relatives will mock them and tell them to man up.

Anyway, tell us your norwood and your age, and I'll tell you who you are.
My parents give me the classic boomer advice that only confidence matters, women don't care about baldness blah blah blah yet my mum has only ever dated guys with long hair and neither of them have ever experienced hair loss themselves. They also told me finasteride is a waste of money, they think it's snake oil.

Thats a reasonable enough explanation but still, you act like men won't go out an try to research something if it was actually dragging them down
