I am 18 and would like to start using Propecia 1mg daily as prevention, would have a problem ? I did not even hair loss can I use it ?

You can, but I would just check your hair regularly, like once a month a good check. Then when you see first sings of balding, go and get finasteride.

Prevention is important but finasteride effect wont last forever. Save the gunshots when you really need. I would recomend some topicals like Nizoral thrice/week and B5/Zynch shampoo, maybe 0.5ml of minoxidil in the crown and hairline and drink lots of green tea.

I started using Nizoral 2x a week, as well Flaxseed 2x a week because I heard it also helps, I drink green tea and red tea all day

Does it help prevent? I go back to the Saw Palmetto at least 2x a week too

Several people recommended me to use Propecia 1mg daily as prevention, Already used for some time but also the Avodart 0.5mg stopped taking because of the very high price

Now what I recommend you start using it for prevention? only the Nizoral 2% come? I'm thinking a return to using Saw Palmetto, because my doctor had already directed him to use at least 2x per week

The most I would do for 'prevention' (I would actually do nothing, but if you're insistent).

-nizoral/Revita
-At most, topical spironolactone at temples. (Problem being though, you don't know for sure that it will be your temples to be affected first, although it usually is).
