Proscar pills are white! Help!

The proscar pills I got last year were pentagon like and blue pills, and now they're white and more round.

Then again I did get prescribed Finasteride 5mg.

Is this any different?

Anyways help. should I split these in 5ths or 4ths? Or just take the whole thing.

there are a lot new generics on the market now, I believe Dr. Reddys is white... not sure though

I just got prescribed finasteride today and its white. Front side should say "M" and the back side should say "151." Thats what my prescription label said.

You paid for Proscar and got a generic made instead - basically you got ripped off. Generics cost less!

Damn. Thats weird. You should be able to tell by the taste and smell if its actually finasteride. Proscar has quite a strong odor. If you're familar with it all you should be able to tell. Bet I could.
