Hey everyone!

I recently got a Caresens N glucometer to monitor my blood sugar levels, and I have a few questions. First, how accurate have you found it compared to other meters you've used? Also, are there any tips to get more consistent readings, like best practices for storing the test strips or finger-pricking techniques?

Lastly, does anyone know how long the battery typically lasts with regular use? I’m new to self-monitoring and would appreciate any insights or experiences you all could share. Thanks in advance!

Looking forward to your advice!

Hey there!

I've been using the CareSens N Glucometer for a while now, so I can help with your questions. In terms of accuracy, I find it quite reliable, but like any meter, slight variations can happen. To improve consistency, make sure your hands are clean and dry before testing, and store the test strips in a cool, dry place. Avoid squeezing your finger too much when pricking as this can affect the sample quality. As for the battery, it usually lasts several months with regular use—I've gone up to six months before needing to replace mine.
