That'd be immense help... have you had a chance to talk to anyone who used it or was it just the clinic?? Do you know how much it costs there?
Even i feel this will help... an injection every 10 months if not an year will help keep what we have till any other reliable treatment surfaces up.(after all its our own cells)

I found a paper on this please have a look https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5504091/

hoping to hear from you about this soon...

Yes, a celebrity stylist has had very good results from the treatment. The clinic is Vie Aesthetics based in Essex and Harley Street.

I also know someone else who is experiencing some regrowth/thickening with the treatment. I'm booked in a session in 3 weeks. I'll write a full report and keep a record of my progress. Combined with the meds (currently on dutasteride), am hoping to maintain what I have.

Will found out more details.

Dont waste money on this. IF YOU HAVE AGRESSIVE Androgenetic Alopecia THAT DOESNT RESPOND TO MINOXIDIL OR FINASTERIDE this treatment WONT WORK
One friend tryed Rigera treatment in Barcelona and dont work. He never respond to finasteride and minoxidil
it's sad that we're on our way to 2020 and there is nothing revolutionary better than finasteride and minoxidil

what if you respond way too much to finasteride (huge regrowth in 6 - 7 months) but also got big sides from it?

You can read more about regenera activa here: https://hairverse.com/stem-cell-therapy-hair-loss/#Regenera_Activa_Procedure_for_Hair_Loss

Btw, for those who are interested - procedure is available in eastern europe (Poland, Lithuania) for under 1.5k EUR, cheaper than singapore. And everything else is the same as clinics have to get the official kits from "Rigenera HBW".

Regarding results, I'm not sure, before / after looks great, but then again, even vitamin seller provide the same photos.
Despite that, I'm going to try it out myself by the end of this year.

I'll be trying this treatment out today at Vie in Essex and will report back over the coming months.

Truth is, I won't know if it works for me unless I try it. Everyone is different, but of the few people I know of who've already had the treatment at the same clinic, they've all been experiencing results.

I've been very slowly losing hair since the age of 18. I'm now 41 and have maintained reasonably well with hair transplants at the hairline and finasteride. However, I've been shedding a lot over the last 2 years and am noticeably thinning at the crown, exacerbated by having incredibly fine hair. I switched to dutasteride just over a year ago, which doesn't seem to slowed much. Am hoping with Regenera Activa and the meds, I'll start to get some thickness back and slow the shedding.

Time will tell!

So I've had the treatment and pleased to say all went very well.

Just a thought - if I post about my experience and progress, what section in the forums should it fit under? Alternative Treatments?

What are they actually proposing (ignoring for a second whether it's true or not): resurrection of shrunken / dormant hair follicles or the generation of new ones?

how is this different from hair transplant? i know with hair transplant, they remove a strip of scalp. with this, it looks like they remove scalp tissue, but a smaller amount.

They use a punch biopsy to remove 2x2mm area of the skin with hair follicles located on the back of the ears (the ones that are resistant to dht). They use a centrifuge machine to mix with physiologic solution. They then inject in areas of the scalp subject to Androgenetic Alopecia.

More information here:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5504091/

The results could be better than PRP but I haven't seen many before/after pictures out of the 20,000 patients they claim to have treated. The site says it's US FDA approved but no treatment available in the US?

Isn’t this similar to hair transplant, where you transfer follicles from one area to another? It’s not regenerating new follicles if the area where the biopsy is taken now has no hair.

No, it's not like a hair transplant.

Presuming that it miraculously works for a second...

Hair transplant = they take 1000 grafts from your donor area and move them to your recipient area.

This = they take 3 grafts hairs from your donor area and use them to generate or revitalise a greater number than 3 follicles in your scalp.

Hair transplant = n grafts converts to n grafts
This stuff = n grafts converts to 50n grafts.

Please don't quote the figures. I pulled them out of my *** for illustration purposes.

This is all presuming that it works of course, which sounds a little too good to be true.
