Remove finasteride from regime if no results after 12 months?

As the topic states, if you are on finasteride for 12 months and see no improvement e.g. no new growth, no maintenance, then should you remove it from your regime? How long at the most would you give finasteride to work?

This is down to you. Just remember roughly every year you will go through a shedding cycle which is not usually extreme.

Finasteride works. Most hair which was maintained by the drug will be lost in a matter of months.

Well I hear stories of people who are on it for a year and experience no regrowth, but around months 14-18 they start to regrow hair. I just dont want to dismiss finasteride to early as far as potential hair regrowth is concerned.
