When do you think the results will be released?
This why I don’t even bother to participate in this forum anymore!

Man you’re speaking to a bunch of baldies who are ready to turn into serial killers for some protein strands in return, if there are any news they would have brought them to you already. In case you’re looking for a respond to fill up your pragmatism, fine, it’s coming in late October.

Hey, one serious question here, if RCH-01 was so promising, then why there was no body in the US or EU bought it and brought it to the market ? This, if succeed, will be true victory, one injection, no daily pills, no daily chemical rubbing on patients ' scalp and minor sides, if any ?

Well we don't know if Replicel got any offers or not and I doubt Replicel will ever release that info. Replicel wants to bring it to the west and market it and receive all the profits. They licensed it to Shiseido to have propriety in Asia in exchange for performing the phase II trials.

Basically, Replicel wants to contract all the risk and expensive work out to some one else (Shiseido), and then, once it has proven to work and it has shown that there is a demand, they will go through the lengthy and costly process of the West. But only once they are guaranteed profits.

Thanks for the explanation. Something still bugs my mind about this. My point is that, those US and EU investors / pharmas, once they see something "promising" after phase 1, they will be very likely pouring money in, even though there are risks of failing (they can always drop after phase 2 P.o.C). The thing here is that, only Shiseido took the bait. And btw, this "wonderful" technology has been already there since 2011-2012 and still no one in US / EU gives it a damn fuk ? (Maybe they are all waiting for Shiseido trials ? I would expect US/EU people would compete with each other to get it). Could it be that the US / EU had seen / figured out something that Shiseido was not able to see ? I dont think the US / EU was so dumb to ignore / skip such a promising treatment for a potential market.

Btw, hope all the BEST for Shiseido. Hope Replicel dont play cheat on Shiseido.

My thinking is that there may be or may have been US/EU willing to put money in but Replicel felt that it would be more profitable if they have sole ownership in western countries and markets of the technology rather than selling the license.

Or, a more likely scenario, is that these companies would have to go through the same lengthy approval process in western countries whereas in Japan, there is an expedited process. Maybe that is why Shiseido, a Japanese company,"took" the bait. Everyone is waiting on Shiseido. If they deliver, then maybe some pharma giant will make replicel an offer they can't refuse and take over to deliver this to the West.

Man, your 2nd point is what I am thinking too. All is waiting for miracle from Shiseido.

You don t belive a random post on the internet! (good job)

You ask other random people if the random post is legit! (not smart)

Admit it you just want to show off that you keept one month away from this forum ;)

Hair Forum rehab... not a bad idea.
LOL

But in all seriousness, discussing hair loss and its impact with a mental health practicioner is not a bad idea. Some counseling is very useful for everyone, and when you have a problem that weaves through aspects of control, body image, romance, identity, and mortality, it's not a bad idea to have a meaningful discussion with a professional once every few weeks. That it is even normal or expected that once in a while, someone contemplates suicide over this condition is enough of a "reason" to seek better mental health. I mean no judgement to anyone of course. I have been seeing a counselor for over a year now as it is difficult at times to have a reasonable conversation with my dysfunctional family, and I gotta say... counseling is pretty cool and helps bring you back to center.

How many people are enrolled in this phase 2 study ?
I remembered they are trialing for 3 different does, low, normal and high or something like that. But what exactly, say, "low" dose mean ?
@br1, do you know ? Thanks.
