A 70 years old guy with fear losing his hair - Mister Ron Wood :

Was he concerned that the chemo wouldn’t work? ‘No. It’s more I wasn’t going to lose my hair. This hair wasn’t going anywhere. I said, “No way.” And I just kept the faith it would be all right. A week later they came back with the news that it hadn’t spread and I said, “Let’s get it out now.”

LOL if you compare our ages, this guy is literally like a grandpa to me. Yet i'm heading to NW3 and he's like NW0.5 afraid to go bald AT 70. Not to mention that his hair will have come back by the time the chemotherapy ends, BUT I'll BE A CUE BALL FOREVER. Life is a joke.

Whenever I see fullhead elderly men combing their luscious silver locks in the sun I want to f*****g end it all

My grandfather (mother's side) was NW0 at 70, all my uncles (40's-50's) and their sons (20's-30's) on both sides of my family are NW0-NW1.5 at best. I'm the only one next to my father who is balding and at 17. I even discovered that my father has retrograde alopecia and i got it from him, so there will be no transplant in the future no matter what happens.

He's probably the oblivious type to say to a balding man: "It's only hair, bro."

I was wondering, for those with a retrograde alopecia, dupa, and female pattern hair loss, will Tsuji be a possibility????
If you're talking about the cure, then sure it'll be. The only difference that i'm aware of between the normal androgenic alopecia and retrograde is the thinning sides. I don't care about my sides and i don't think no one cares that much, i just want the top of my head to have hair. Even for a woman sides are not that important, if she got a hairstyle like this, she would still be attractive as hell.

Oh and BTW, thinning sides don't look like that at all. She does not have hair loss.
I didn't mean literally thinning sides, but i wanted to give you idea of how you can have a hairstyle that depends just on the hair on the top of the head. And if you want a completely shaved sides then here you go.

The hair looks fake, but you get the idea.
And about the Tsuji cure, i haven't read about it yet, so i can answer your question after i educate myself a bit.

Thanks for the suggestion Stanx, I appreciate. Although, you know balding is not like shaving for girls too mate! And I don't have hair on the top, haha, at least not sufficiently. My sides are thinning but not super badly for now, but I hope I will be able to get the Tsuji once it's out. I can not remember if they said FPHL would be candidate too.
I know it sounds weird and rare, but there's a lot of men who don't care about hair including myself. To me face is the most important thing, i don't care about body that much and i like hair, but it's not like a requirement for me. I know it may be extremely hard because society insists on having long hair for girls and that men love long hair and blah blah blah, but not all men even care about hair. And yeah for the cure you must start saving from now and i don't think it'll be expensive forever because hundreds of millions of men and women will want it even if they don't have alopecia, so it'll be much cheaper with time. And thanks for informing me about the Tsuji thing.

You are not the only one saying that, but I find it really hard to believe, sorry. It's one thing to not have beautiful hair when a girl, another to be balding. Not sure guys here actually know what FHLP looks like or females with male pattern baldness. Plus I am not trying to get my hair back for men, but for my self esteem.
Thanks anyway, I know you are trying to make me feel better and are surely sincere. But if hair counts for women when they look at men, it s just even more true the other way around! A wig is not a cure it just hide it!
I don't blame you, i would never believe anyone who tells me that women don't care about height or hair. I'm also ready to be forever alone, but get my hair back for myself. There was a like 20% chance of me going bald and like 5% chance of going bald that young because my father is the only bald man in the family and he went bald in 30's, so me even just going bald was unlikable, but i'm lucky with everything as usual. My 15 problems can be 4 if i took care of myself. I know i'm exaggerating when it comes to my looks or genes because i have depression and BDD, but the hair thing makes me hopeless and unmotivated to do anything, like what's the point ?

I really feel badly for women that lose their hair. This is supposed to be a male hormone driven thing, is it follicle super-sensitivity in the female? A wildcard ladies were given by genetics? I guess we don't have to look on the sex chromo for the gene, but it's there, somewhere. Then you get a 70 year old with adolescent hair...God this drives me crazy! Crazy!

No women has hair loss in my family. What were the odds I get that?? Even my father, who gave me it genetically speaking, had more hair than I have at my age... I was convinced of having a serious illness, something bad and I am still convinced something is wrong very often...
People used to tell me I had splendid hair! Like Asian hair but a bit lighter with natural reflects...
:(
It sucks that you experience that at such a young age though... I feel for you. But don't give up on taking care of the other problems, cause you may be able to get hair back in the future, either trough a hair transplant or Tsuji (better).
Women care about height and hair, but keep in mind that hair loss is very common in late 20's men and it will get less weird as you age. I am sorry that's the only comfort I can give you. We have to wait and keep our hair if we can, and cope with something.
I've read about Tsuji and it's really promising and gave me hope. 2020 is not that far, i hope it'll be the year we eliminate this curse.

At least you can notice other men balding. Try to be this 3% cursed balding girl in her 20's!
I feel you. But i think both men and women who start balding in their 20s or earlier get hit way harder than guys who slowly go bald over time. Like it has to have some psychological impact and change who you are as a person.
And from my own personal experiences, not in a good way. Ive become much more serious and a cold person.

I don't go out no where near as much as I used to, don't like looking in the mirror sometimes, dislike being in photos now, etc. Whole bunch of unnecessary sh*t i have to deal with because i got a shitty genetic makeup hair wise.

I brush my teeth in the dark so I think I get you :D
Don't know what to say. It f*****g sucks.
Sometimes when i look at myself in the mirror i take my glasses off so i see a blurry version of myself so I don't have to deal with the recession and diffuse thinning and I'm 24. Hopefully new treatments come out in the next few years otherwise I'm fucked.

As much as I like Ron Wood, nobody is surprised he has lung cancer.

I would give anything to live his life, including decades of my own life.

Anybody else feel that way?
