I also have scalp pain but it is nothing related with topicals.
That sucks. I used to have scalp pain on and off for years only on one spot Close to my crown. Nothing worked to solve it, I tried dermarolling Apple cider vinager even and massages. Ever since using dutasteride that pain has never returned.

Well you had luck and found something that solved it. I use clobetasol, ketoconazole, and antiandrogens and nothing stops the pain. It must be nerve damage or something like DoctorHouse said.

apply bica before bed and then wash your hair in the morning
Yeah, the problem is that I have no time to wash my hair and then wait to let it dry because I have to leave my house at 8 AM. When I apply it on Friday, I wash my hair next morning, but I am now using it on Wednesday too and probably will be applying it on Monday as well for the first month or two, so I have no time to wash it.

Well do it when you get home, leave it on for a few hours and wash it out later before bed
