Maintained hair and halted hair loss but has not regrew the thinning at the hairline. Think I might get a few hair grafts put in just to thicken it out in the future if it gets any worse.
I think it is possible that you may just have a maturing hairline. However, I totally understand the concern because you never know if a mature hairline will become actual balding, and it's much harder to regrow hair than it is to maintain it. What do you think, @DoctorHouse ?

I can say myself with absolute confidence that I am thinning in the same pattern as my dad was at my age, who had the same V hairline as me, which I have inherited, who is now bald.

4mg per day ?
I can’t remember, per day seems a helluva lot for a rat lol especially 4mg. In fact now I can remember it was a study I heard through YouTuber Hairlisciously, he’s an Asian guy who makes videos about the effectiveness of different drugs and about all things hair loss.

Dad - bald, brother - balding,
maternal GF - full head, paternal GF - had a V hairline that receded exactly like the actor Richard Burton.
If you google this actor this is how my hairline will go if I stop medication 100%

Your genes are above average. The best sign is maternal grandfather being a full head! Of course there are exceptions, and I really do understand your concerns. But I also believe you did throw the kitchen sink at it.

And I’m glad I did, I guess I must be a pretty weak and insecure man as I couldn’t be confident without my hair in my 20s - 30s. Just out of curiosity what’s your hair like mate?

It might not be weakness or insecurity, it might just be BDD. My hair is worse than yours. I just didn't start my treatments soon enough.

That is definitely a mature hairline. It even has the classic M shape. I agree being proactive at this point since his dad was balding in a similar pattern but I honestly think finasteride and minoxidil would be enough.

You were right to get on treatments right away, I first noticed my hair loss when it was at the same stage as yours, tiny bit of thinning at my left temple but I left it for a couple of years and it thinned out more and the thinning spread to the middle of my hairline too.

Yep. As Norwoody said I threw the kitchen sink at it, hope your hairline has recovered but man and you are happy with what you have. I always say I might not have the best hair but it’s MY hair.
