Shedding When Moving To Another Country

I started shedding after moving to Canada. When I was in India, my hair was thick and strong and no sign of hair fall what so ever. Its been about 8 years now since i moved to Canada and each day I shed a lot especially in the shower. My hair has started to thin especially in the temple area and this is getting me very worried and depressing. At first, I thought it could be the hard water that is causing the issue so I tried several methods but no luck (Using shower filters, washing hair with distilled water, minoxidil, multivitamins, etc.). My hair stops falling whenever i visit India. So weird...

Does anyone have similar problem when moving to different country? What could be the problem? (environment, diet?) Would appreciate if anyone can share your sincerely thoughts.Thanks!
