One small hamster study measured EGCG to be a very potent androgen receptor blocker. And it is so cheap and easy to get.
It is very unstable in solution, unless the pH is below 4.
The only strike I've read against it is green tea may make your blood proteins release more testosterone into solution. I wonder if that is a local effect, or if you'd have to take a high systemic dose for some gland to give the order. I also read that most polyphenols don't make it past the liver.
