Should someone start finasteride if they're overweight and have a varicocele?

Hey all! I have to lose a good chunk of weight (have dropped some pounds already), and I also have a varicocele (which I think is causing me to have watery semen), that is still untreated. I'm concerned that already having these issues will increase my chances of side effects. Should I wait until I treat the varicocele and lose all the weight before starting finasteride or can I start taking finasteride while adressing the other issues at the same time? I just don't know how long that's going to take and I don't want to lose more hair while waiting. Obviously I will ask my doctor but I'm interested if anyone here has had these issues and started finasteride. What have your experiences been like?

The new standard treatment for hairloss in men is NOT finasteride. Its transmaxxing called HRT.
