little bit about me, lost 12 pounds in 4 months. Currently using rosemary oil and aloe vera gel, daily scalp massages, along with eating a "hair healthy" diet. I use vanicream shampoo and conditioner if that matters as well. I noticed thinning approximately 4 months ago, but took the above action 1 month ago. Dad is bald and so are maternal uncles. I am genuinely wondering whether I have a double cowlick, balding, or a mix of both.
So frustrated that I'm not getting a clear answer, this is my last resort

Looks like just a double cow lick. Share pics of hairline to see if male pattern baldness exists.
Even if it isn't male pattern baldness, I think it's possible for you to get the cow lick to look better with needling or even minoxidil.
I would also suggest a different hairstyle to conceal it. Maybe even hair fibers could be a solution if you don't want to change hairstyles.

Hairline looks good. I don't really see male pattern baldness, I think you just have a double crown. It's possible that you are either in the early stages of it, but it is possible that you naturally have low density. Asians and hispanics rarely have severe hair loss. You could possibly thicken that spot with needling and/or minoxidil, change hairstyles, or use concealer.
