Did you experience any initial shedding period in the first month or so when taking finastride?
I have stopped using alcohol and smoking one month ago ( Was a hardore smoker). I use every day 15mg zinc.
Side effects from finasteride now : nearly 0...my sex drive is still high.
Have you thought about adding Minoxidil to that? You're doing good.
Why not erase all of it? (No bald spots)?
Those are great results by the way. Fantastic.
Easy for you to say, you were one of the 0.001% of people who got insane results from Finasteride alone. Most men can only maintain, or even worse still lose hair on finasteride. For some hope, i want to share my results with finasteride after 6 months.
I have a life motto:
Never give up + for many problems there are solutions.

Well, I'm only 3 months in myself and plan on keeping at it for a full year at least before I ditch it. Also don't be so narrow minded, plenty of people don't get results from finasteride.Nope, what you need is patience!! the most people will see results after 1-2 years after using finasteride!
The most people will quit with finasteride after 3-6 months, because they don't see any results.

I never even shed to begin with, which has me worried it's not working. I'm still at baseline. I wouldn't fret if you're shedding though, that should be a positive sign the drug is doing what it's supposed to be doing. As for the waiting period, I think 1 year is ideal if you're not experiencing sides since hair cycles are quite long. But if you're still shedding at 6 months, it might be time to ditch finasteride. You might be better off asking others who've taken the drug for a long time. How is it going after 3 months? Are you still shedding? Does it look like it's getting worse?
There is so much conflicting advice, some people say wait for 3 months, some 6 now you 1 year
I've introduced finastride in the last month into my routine as after 2 years of minoxidil I didn't feel it was doing enough and after 1 month my hair looks the worst ever, for example now even my front hairline is thinning which was not the case before. And when I sleep or wake up in morning, it's like I can sometimes just actually feel thinning hair/tingling type of feeling on my head and then in the shower, when warm water hits my scalp I can really feel it around my crown area the warm water of the shower
I've started finasteride 1mg daily since 3 days...That's probably the most impressive result with finasteride alone I have ever seen. What is your dosage? And how old are you? Did you experience itch when hair loss started? Thanks in advance.
Lol, I don't know, it depends on how good responder you are.I've started finasteride 1mg daily since 3 days...
I'm Norwood 2 and have thin hair on temples
When will i see results?
Lol, I don't know, it depends on how good responder you are.
But usually finasteride doesn't work on temples.
