It appears we are down to months now that I have left with hair. Been on finasteride for 5 1/2 months and haven't seen one sign of improvement, I still continue to lose hair. I just turned 24 last week and I'm down to months/weeks now that I have left with my hair. It was a good run, wish it could last longer, but **** happens and we have to move on or be left behind. Au revoir hair, you will be missed :pint::sobbing:

As long as you are strong about it and dont let it hold you back it will be good. Just some advice from all the girls I talked to they said they find bald men more sexy than men with male pattern baldness.

5 months is not long enough. Your hair needs to come back from the brink. Far too many are impatient and loose out as a result. Stay the course

Dude, hang in there. Wait a year. If no change, try dutasteride if you feel comfortable about it.

Minoxidil? Nirazol? RU?

It is too early to give up after just 5 months! Besides there are more treatments out there that can help you to maintain your hair as it is... but with these treatments you need to have patience as well...

Ok I still buy pumpkin seed oil and biotin .... but laser helmet? I know there is that one which was made my some NASA scientist... but I rather believe in uranium pills than that.

Yeah the trials were pretty impressive, the hair density went off the charts, basically it removes ones beard off of their chin and lands it slap-bang on top of their noggin! - 20 years, but worth the wait!

So I bought 1 percent nizoral today. Hopefully it helps. I don't think I will start back on minoxidil since it has cause my scalp irritation every time I use it and inflammation.

Unfortunately, it will be another 20 years of continued daily use until the effect you have described here will take its full effect. But I will keep you updated.
