I used to be happy when my friends pulled, because I knew I would to.

When I do drugs I get bad anxiety, and I cant even stay calm because I am not comfortable even when I am sober. The drugs just accentuate both good, and negative effects.

Easier said than done, while you're saving 3000 to pay for braces the other person who has nice teeth by default is buying their first car, while you're saving 5000 for eye surgery that other person is already getting married, at the end you're less 15 000 or more for just correcting the very basics which have a direct impact in your daily life.

I spend 14,000-15,000 on couple transplants. An emotional investment.


I subtract my differences. I can settle for a 30,000 truck.




Make it sound like this 'one person' has everything. Almost all my friends had braces when they were younger, and the ones that didnt usually have weird teeth. Most people don't have perfectly straight teeth like you want to believe. I remember being jelous that everyone has braces as a teenager but I didn't get them until around 21. Granted I had great teeth, but was involved in a few accident that shifted my bottom teeth out of place.


I used to hate the thought of spending all this money to feel normal, but now I could care less. I make 3-4x the amount of money of anyone I know my age.

My vertex is almost bald, but it's OK (even though I will fix it at a point too), frame is almost everything when it comes to hair loss.

I have this rush of anxiety when I imagined how I would look like without my 2000 grafts. Bald 'infinite forehead' uncle.

Have you checked Joe Biden? He did a hair transplant in the front and makes a combover to the back.

Looks amazing in front (compare his pic before hair transplant and after). Since his 90% of photos done in from of his face, hair transplant did a big difference.

So I think you are right, frame is much more important than vertex.

The problem is I have a thick dark hair, without density they looks retarded.

Anyway there is a hope in a 5-7 years – new treatments. Just need to buy some time.

Yeah maybe in your country the bus route goes everywhere but not where I live unless you like waiting 2 hours for a bus. Going to buy groceries and shopping by bus is very inconvenient as well.

- I wouldn't have had two (and a third now) amazing long-term relationships
- I wouldn't have had the peace of mind to travel to places like Morocco, Iceland, Thailand, etc.
- I wouldn't have experienced all the activities I enjoyed during those travels: camping, horseback riding, snorkeling, hiking, etc.
- It's possible that I would have lost my motivation to finish university, no job prospects, who would have hired a 25 year old bald kid without a degree?
- I wouldn't have been able to simply enjoy my hobbies, my social life, my life in general

I could go on.

And then you have people who tell me: "Wow, 4500€ only for hair, you could have bought a nice (well a shitty one in fact) car with that!

Even after braces my teeth are far from perfect. Correcting these genetic issues delay and take years off your life.

I don't think cars really impress chicks or women in my opinion. Driving a beat up car is a risk, it might be cheap to buy but expensive to maintain and it might not be very economic in terms of oil and gas.

No I used the regular ones with wires, I had to extract four molars (both top and bottom rows) and now there's gaps in the bottom row for the two small molars next to the canine teeth. Crowns cost a sh*t ton of money, can't see an easy fix for the space.

Yeah but if you have limited resources you can't keep competing with the people that already have it better by default because you need to save money to correct this or that. You now may look closer to "normal" but you're then missing the other stuff like a place to live and other commodities, or you'll get them a few years later.

I see it as race, when you're 20 you feel like you still have next year to make it, at 30 you feel you have one less year to live.

my old depressive posts were more angry than dantes. im with swingline where i go psycho tantrum mode over this sh*t. i've been thinking about this recently and overall i've gone rage mode a lot more than sad mode over it. idk even at my worst i have never cried about it but had plenty of screaming insanity meltdowns, not gonna lie lol

at one point i was saying the most outrageous stuff just to get attention and kicks to distract myself from it.

i have heard anger is just another form of depression though. negative feeling because something isnt the way you want it
