Spironolactone for excessive body hair?

I read on another website that Spironolactone Tablets can be used to remove excessive hair from unwanted sites but it helps to increase hair in wanted sites – is this true?

The site also says that these tablets are used by transgender

spironolactone is NOT a potent anti androgen. Even cyproterone acetate is not (except in large amount). Oral flutamine, and its successors, are.
AND, why on earth do you guys keep saying "ho my god it's used by transgenders don't even touch it !!!" ???? Sounds weird.

Throwing out insults is not going to make your argument any stronger. According to information on HairLossTalk (not the forum), it states that the topical is a potent androgen blocker. And when I said that the oral is used by transgenders so you shouldn't bother, is because it may have feminizing properties with side effects such as gyno. All I was doing was giving fair warning, so relax man.

Oral. IBM is super thin and does not want to build muscle. He is happy with his thin body. I have not seen his pick, but I think he is one of those emo guys.

In topical form, it MAY or MAY NOT be systematically absorbed, so there isn't much harm in using it in topical form. At least the existing evidence suggests that at low dose, it isn't absorbed into the body.

No. My body hair soften and got more healthy. In agressive male pattern baldness phase my body hair got kinky look. Now it looks like hair.

as 50mg) to reduce testostorone to female levels. I don't think anyone
shold read this and take even 50mg without doing your home work
and getting your T levels checked before you start and a few months
into it.

I thought transsexuals take 400mg/day plus finasteride. I did the reseach long ago and after all i was wrong.

My major side effect is lethargy. But i prefer to have due to spironolactone instead of depression due to hair and skin conditions.

day, but I think the reccomended dose is 200mg/day and some take
