I've been doing a bit of reading tonight on scalp relaxation and needling techniques, I want to start doing both.

I've also been trying my best to read up on shampoos and other topicals that contain Apple/Other Fruit stem cells with little joy, the internet is a bloody mess.

There are lots of brand names, lots of different products, lots of topics STARTED but never finished on hairloss websites... is there anybody on here who can point me in the right direction for adding something new to my topical regime?

Theres creams out there from £20-£2000

Shampoos from £40+

Any ideas?

There are some at Hair Loss Fight using it..it's something on my list of things to maybe try as well. .

What product are you referring to in your first post?

In my first post I was just talking generally and not about anything in particular, those are the rough price ranges I've seen on google shopping and amazon.

I'll check out hair loss fight.

So you were referring to plant stem cell based products? There are non-plant ones...don't actually contain stem cells though. The latter are the more expensive ones. Usually :woot:

BTW..I'm currently using Andalou's..have used Lamas and Elsom in the past.

I don't know of any shampoos but if you are after a conditioner that contains plant stem cells then you should check out Revita Cor. I've been using it for a little while now and it's great quality stuff.

That last page has some interesting products in there, no idea on prices or anything, google reveals nothing..!

Good list though, thank you!

I want to contact the people selling the stuff in my second post, I want to know what % of their serum is made up of stem cells.

So what questions should I ask them?

That 3rd one has some 'human stem cell media' listed on the ingredients. I think one on the guys working for them commented on a thread in one of the other forums a long while back.

Hey Jacob, is that Peter Lamas stuff the same stuff you use as listed on your regimen? If so, what's your opinion on it?

Yep..same stuff. I liked it, used it for good long time..a nice one for daytime use. As usual I used other things along with it. I haven't changed my regimen sig in a while..which is why it's still there.

Here's another one: http://www.renewhs.com/products/

I've emailed that GoGeous company quite a few times and they've never replied. Although their website looks a bit more professional now. It's also really, really expensive. The rejuvenist product looks good, it's got the argan stem cells in too!

Then I probably wasted an email :woot:

Yeah there are numerous skin products out there containing the plant stem cells. That's what I was first looking at before these scalp/hair products came out.

These guys are saying Echinacea for hair: http://ibotanicalgarden.com/ns/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1244

Ingredients
Echinacea angustifolia stem cell culture, Pueraria Mirifica extract, Nanosphere Multi-Vitamins, Ginseng extract, Centella Asiatica, Witch Hazel extract, Sodium Hyaluronate.

Very interestingly, echinacea angustifolia stem cells help off-set any decrease in the density of the hair. It help stop hair loss and enhance hair regeneration

Yeah I use a few skincare products with PhytoCellTec ingredients in.

A chain of cosmetic stores here in England called Superdrug sell a skincare range called Optimum. I use their moisteuriser with phytocelltec apple and another with the grape. Been applying tretinoin along the hairline and temples then applying the moisteurisers in the morning. Too early to say if it's bringing results.

The echinacea one sounds good too, Acure do it in one of their conditioners :D
