It should be.

Tsuji explicitly said that he would be the first to restore hair. So that seems to be important to him. Stemson has to interpret it as a declaration of war.
Ordinary people doesn’t give a sh*t who firsty invent it. If you have good product they will buy it.

@trialAcc Do you know maybe more?
I do not, other then the fact that Alexey point blank said in the interview posted in here the other day that cancer wont be an issue in the slightest because everything requires happens outside of the body.

I feel like if that was in doubt/question he would say they need to do the proper testing to ensure it wont be a problem, not point blank that it isn't one.

short question: Here it is said that ips cells can cause cancer. It is also explicitly about hair restoration. Is this the same procedure that Stemson does?
According to what we know, they differentiate IPS into DP and EP cells before putting them into your scalp, so no IPS cells will be transplanted.

Stemson Therapeutics with a new job posting!
Wow, you check them even more often than I do. This seems like a good sign, that they have sufficient funding and are making good progress.

I listened to the Stemcellpodcast from yesterday, they talked with one of the co-founders of Cellino. They indeed do plan to focus on Skin first which is good news but when they talked about possible diseases to target they did not mention Androgenetic Alopecia. So I'm still not sure if the collaboration they have was only for this paper:

It's nice that there are companies that focus on the potential manufacturing side for the masses though.

What did they mention as of diseases they want to target tho??

It's kinda... crazy... to collaborate just for publishing some papers. Lol!

Tho hairs are part of the skin, so maybe they generalized it.

And remember that Androgenetic Alopecia is not recognized as a 'disease' by most, like AA is or any other kind of hair loss, ie. fungi-induced, skin disorders, etc...

"Please read: "Autologous Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell–Based Cell Therapies: Promise, Progress, and Challenges" written by Marinna Madrid, PhD, Cenk Sumen, Suvi M. Aivio, and Nabiha Saklayen, PhD. Hot off the press as of today in Current Protocols. A great collaboration between Cellino and Stemson Therapeutics to capture the incredible work happening in this industry, and looking forward to what's next."

- Cellino (LinkedIn)

I correct myself, the post indeed makes it sound like they atually just collaborated for that paper lol.

But they will probably share their tech with Stemson, if I had to guess.

Now that is a catchy title for a paper on hair therapy. Autologous:
(of cells or tissues) obtained from the same individual.
"autologous bone marrow transplants"

There's a guy on the net who writes about hybrids and he says humans are a chimp/pig hybrid, if I recall correctly. Some hairless pigs are said to resemble human females from behind, but I wouldn't know.

i am asking seriously, on hairlosscure a guy wrote that it was a sca, there was no sucessfull pig trial, and they didnt even start pig trials
Thankfully we have a guy in the comment section of a hair site to let us know that the science that already won a nobel prize, a tenured Stanford stem cell researcher and a start-up financially backed & verified by a 65 billion dollar biotech company is all a giant scam. We can probably just close this thread now and add this to the list of snake oil.
