stomach pain from finasteride twice a week

i've been on finasteride for 2 months, i took 2 pills of 1mg a week (monday and thursday, so only 2mg a week)
and i've had some horrible stomach pain from the minute i took the pill every time i needed to take, until it's been hours till it's gone.
now i'm 3 weeks without the pills (like my derm suggests) and the pains are gone !
so i have meeting with my derm this monday, and i was thinking maybe i should suggest lowering and taking only 0.5 twice a week ?

Not suprised. finasteride is poison in pill form.

Have u tried topical finasteride?? And throw in oral minoxidil low dose max 2.5mg

i'm on topical duta and minoxidil
so far 2 months i'm having little bit of shedding
so it will take time to see results and to know if it's working
