I noticed that even crippled people at my workplace get more respect than me just because of some hypocritical sense of fake respect. One of them is a dick, but nobody dares even to make fun of him at his back because he's in a wheelchair, he must be on a roll. Baldness is not seen as an impairment, but something you can use to humiliate people. After all, what's better than mocking a skeletal looking, short bald guy to feel better about your miserable life?

The hypocrisy of society.
For example : If a 40 years old cancer patient guy lost his hair because of chemotherapy which will grow back after he finishes the treatments, you'll find that everyone is sympathing with him because of his hair loss, but if a 20 years old young man loses his hair to alopecia which will never grow back again until he dies, the reactions would be like : hahaha cueball head, hahaha you look like a cancer patient, hahaha you look like a pedophile, hahaha MR.clean, you look ugly as sh*t. The truth that people don't give a f*** about either one of them, but sympathing with the cancer patient will benefit them socially and will make them look better in the eyes of other people and that's why they're doing it. But no one cares about the 20 years old bald guy because everyone already mocks him and treats him as a genetic trash, so there would be no point in sympathing with him. The worst part of it is that I never retailated in any way. I kept my composure, treated people with respect and politeness. Did that ever pay off?
