There was a programme on the British telly not long ago, they compared fat, salt, etc content in the sandwiches from the major retailers.
The worst sandwich based on the salt content was Subway, almost all their sandwiches pack way above the recommended amount. I was really surprised with the outcome of the research, I always thought the fresh ingredients used would make the sandwiches rather healthy.
I think all fast-food retailers should have a clearly visible chart of fat and salt content inside the shops. Currently, such information is only available through their websites.

PS: I don't mean to scare you. Since watching the programme, I have been in Subway and I have bought my favourite sandwich
