This is a bit of a random question. But are you aware of any surgeons that accept Bitcoin (or other cryptocurrencies) as payment. The reason is that I'm taxed on capital gains once I convert my bitcoin to cash. So a clinic that accepts this payment would save me money.

I'm considering Dr. Demirsoy and Dr. Maras at the moment. TIA!

Good question about surgeons accepting Bitcoin as payment. I'm not aware of any specific surgeons who accept Bitcoin, but it's definitely an interesting concept. I think it's becoming more common for businesses in various industries to accept cryptocurrencies as a form of payment, so it's possible that there may be some surgeons out there who do as well. You may want to check with the clinic you're considering and ask if they accept any forms of digital currency.
Also, in case you are interested in trading, here's a good link for you https://fbs.com/blog/metatrader-4-vs-metatrader-5-which-is-better-in-2022-304, it talks about the difference between metatrader 4 and 5 and which one is better in 2022.

It is actually pretty wild how many places are still catching up with crypto payments, even for major procedures where it would save everyone a ton on fees. I faced a similar dilemma recently while trying to avoid those massive capital gains hits from withdrawing to my bank. Honestly, instead of hunting for specific clinics, I just started using a crypto debit card from Trustee Plus, which lets me pay anywhere that takes regular plastic. It was a huge relief for my travel and medical expenses since I didn't have to wait for exchange approvals or deal with tax headaches. It’s been a total lifesaver for keeping my assets liquid while on the move.

Dealing with capital gains and bank transfers is a massive pain when you're just trying to use your own crypto for something big like surgery. I ran into a similar issue trying to avoid unnecessary fees and tax headaches. Instead of looking only for clinics that take direct transfers, I found it way easier to use a dedicated card. I’ve been using the options from this list https://incrypted.com/en/top-crypto-cards-withdrawing-bitcoin/ and it honestly solved the problem. It lets you pay for high-cost services directly with your balance. It’s a much smoother workaround than hunting for a specific surgeon who handles BTC manually.
