Switching from Proscar to Fincar

Both Inhouse Pharmacy and United Pharmacies have been out of stock of Proscar 5mg for quite some time now, so I've decided that switching to Fincar 5mg is my only available option.

My question is this: Are there any noticable differences between Proscar 5mg and Fincar 5mg?

I would really appreciate any responses. :(

Surprise, surprise! 43 views and no reply whatsoever. I went ahead and ordered Proscar 5mg from Elitenet.

I appreciate your help. :thumbdown2:

I read your question and thought: damned if I can give a definitive answer to that. Doubtless many of the others who passed through felt the same, hence the lack of replies in the 1 day you gave 'us' to respond.

As the last guy said: Fincar & Proscar are meant to be the same and so there should be no effect from switching between the two. I guess ultimately it comes down to whether you feel comfortable taking generics; for some, knowing they're using Merck's product provides a certain peace of mind. Others don't care either way.

good site.

And no difference, unless my NW4a just decided to stop receding for the last 5 years on its own.

I had a brilliant, detailed and informative answer all worked out, but since the OP went ahead and ordered, I guess there's no point now. :woot:
