Sounds like you have been successful! Congratulations my friend. I personally matured physically early relative to my peers. I have the physical appearance of someone in their early 20's rather than a teenager. My dad, the person whom I am following in terms of recession pattern, receded on the temples early, as I am now, but stopped around NW3/4 and has stayed there for quite some time. If he follows the pattern of his dad he will eventually lose it, but I'm hoping that this translates to male pattern baldness that isn't extremely aggressive, even if it started at a young age. More just a product of my early development. Of course, it's more probable to be aggressive and a consequence of having my hairline and temples be more sensitive to androgens compared to the crown and other parts of my head along with my early exposure to increased testosterone. I'm no expert though. What are your thoughts? As I’ve said I caught my hairloss relatively early since I cut my own hair. I was probably a 1.5 as my hairline was rounding and looking mature, and I had some real bad recession on my temple points. Now my hairline is straight across and my temple points have completely come back which makes a big difference in appearance.
My worse loss came from my diffuse thinning which has thickened to a level that made me realize I had probably been balding since high school since that was the last time it was this thick.
