Well “even if it doesn’t work” doesn’t make any sense. What happens if it makes things worse? Retin A or too much Vit A isn’t suppose to be good for hair.

This is why I don't bother here.. I've taken the risks myself, if it made things worse I'd know about it by now. Never read anything related to tretinoin being bad for hair, infact it's one of the treatments available for AA.. Vit-A Acetate gets metabolised to tretinoin, peoples reaction of tretinoin varies and some people are more sensitive than others but Vit-A acetate is much milder even at 4% which is why its allowed to be used in cosmetics at 1%.
