My scalp gets itchy when I apply rogaine over a week on to my scalp.. I guess I'm allergic to it. I also developed red scabs cuz of the itch. went to the dr. got some antibiotics and steroid foam to alleviate....NOw i'm 90% itch free, until i reused the rogain againe

I think it is the propylene glycol my scalp is reacting to not the minoxidil itself. Will take a break for a week now with the minoxidil and try only with the foam again when my scalp feels okey. Not giving up on this regime so easy, but if the iching will continue when im starting up again i will have to quit
