I was in an elevator yesterday talking to a cutie and realized her top mid scalp was as see through as mine. I think we really overlook signs of balding in women, probably ALOT more common than we think.

Literally no different than any other night out, had a f*****g blast but I think i had some high expectations with toppik, what it literally did was make my hair look good in harsh lightings.. which is pretty useless in a club lol.

Honestly it didn't change the way I approached it was just noticeable to me and i may have looked a little too much. I mentioned it to my friend after and he said I'm crazy for even noticing that lol

I'll prob whip it out on a nice sunny day when I know I'm gonna constantly be in the sun. Aside from that don't really see myself getting dependant in it, but definitely worth a try man.

We girls, are Ludwigs, and I really don't know. It's already pretty bad though.

At least you can hold out for shesido, that's how I'm coping, that and finasteride. I imagine it's worse for women but then the benefit is you guys can wear wigs etc whereas for guys it's more accepted, but who am I kidding this sh*t isn't fun for anyone. I'm 22 and it's already crippled me.

I just have zero hope personnally. I keep up with reasearch and all that but my hopes are dead by now... except the one for being wrong!
It's hard on both male and female. At least I was not aware at 22 (even though probably already thinning very slowly...). I hope fina works for you.

Yeah well it started for me when I was 17 so 5 years now and I'm nw3. Because of hairloss I've got BDD and actively avoid mirrors, probably need therapy at some point. I'm 3 months into finasteride and I've got a few sides which are slowly improving. I just hope that shesido gets good results in 2018 so they can be ready for a release, for many of us that should be a functional cure. If you hair isn't too far gone shesido can probably help you and then you can just get a transplant, I think that's the most optimistic scenario for most of us.

Yes, I hope Shisheido works too, in some extent. Women are rarey good candidates for transplants... I know I would not be as I am diffuse (resembling retrograde)
For guys who can make a transplant I really hope Shisheido works and help.

Yeah I think I've heard about that, I think women are more likely to have dupa as well, which is the pattern where a transplant is near impossible. I'm a receder so my hair loss isn't as noticeable to others but norwood spotters would be able to tell.

I never say anything. I don't have the emotional fortitude to watch the light permanently leave someone's eyes when they realize this
