Very strongly disagree with this statement. A lot of guys just do not pull it off at all, mostly those with pale skin & boyish looks.

No reason for this guy to shave

This guy is "building up the courage" to shave. Like wtf? Why?

No he doesn't look great, but can you imagine this kid bald? He'll be a freaking alien. He needs to work out some sort of cover-up game and style it in a way that he can look presentable. He's got enough hair left to do so.

Hard to say what it looks like on top but he definitely got a lot of stuff going on around his hairline.

What he should do is untake the plunge, shave/trim his weak *** beard and focus on other stuff, his hair is not the problem. He looks like someone punched him in the face from the side :/.
I can't believe I'm actually typing this out...
What I obviously meant was that being bald beats LOOKING like you're balding. Which is a general statement, while you are drawing individual cases although it always is ultimately a person-to-person case and decision. It's actually even a photo-to-photo decision. Some of the people in your photos don't look like they need to take the plunge but maybe from another angle they certainly do. Who knows? I don't. Do you?
And then, perhaps even the most shameful aspect of belittling people on that subreddit: These people are better off than all of us. They really are. If you can shave your head and live with it, you won the game. That's it. That's the best solution, outcome, whathaveyou. Being attractive to person is about so much more than "looking good" and being/feeling yourself is obviously ALWAYS the most important factor. Some people just don't see balding as the end of their life. They see it as something happening to them and then they shave their heads. They don't want to delay the inevitable. There are so many reasons. It's a personal choice. Stop clinging to these individual cases.
