Nah.. I disagree, it will happen..

Is it Bryan or Gardener that repeatedly states that even if we do have alternative energy sources, we still need oil for lubrication, manufacturing, etc? We'll keep using petrol in one form or another for the foreseeable future but there is going to be an energy revolution.

Absolutely. It will happen and Western countries will only benefit from it.

In fact, the energy revolution is out there already: electric buses, solar pannels are now a commonplace thing here in Portugal; even my dad is thinking of buying an electric car.
