I just spoke to my mother on the phone for 20 minutes.

Among my emotions, I felt sorry for my father that he was married to her for 37 years.

I know that back in the day when she used to call him, he'd sometimes just leave the phone on the table. He'd go back to it every few minutes and say "oui, OUI" (French for "yes, YES") and then put it aside for a few minutes and repeat. She would just keep talking by herself and not realize that he wasn't listening.

Is she just that self-absorbed? Have you or your dad ever tried to speak to her about it?

I'm just a weirdo mate. I've been trying to cope by looksmaxing; I've been working out and following a strict skincare routine. I already dropped 10 lbs, if I drop 5-10 more I'll be happy.
You have BDD. Does not mean weirdo. You don't think too highly of yourself but you should as you have a lot to offer. Your BDD is your Achilles heal. It's your handicap. It's mine too.

You don't need to be a 8/10 to get girls (lookism hyperbole) but it's common sense that you need to be at least good-looking.
If you are below average, it's hard to find someone attracted to you.
All i need is just a Zuckerberg's tier idea to get myself going.

Just this year, i was refused in a job application just because of my looks. Literally, when the interviewer just landed his eyes on me, before we even spoke he gave me that "eww" micro expression.
Feels bad man.

I always did great at interviews, every interview i ever had i always got a job offer, with the exception of one. The one where i didn't get the job happened to be the one where i had buzzed my head down to the skin - coincidence? Perhaps. But i didn't give up - i grew what little hair i had left, went to get my MBA and came back to the same industry and now I work for a company that is above the company that didn't hire me. I see the guys that didn't hire me nowadays at industry events and they kiss my ***. Payback's a f*****g b**ch.

Don't let them beat you down boys. Get back up, strategize, and f*** them up. Think long term, not short term. Fullheads can think short term , baldies have to be a bit more methodical in their approach.

You work in a managerial capacity now?
