did you get a hair transplant or did you see those result on hormone alone?
I got one that lamentably did not take and then I had small refinements to cover the plugs that were cobblestoned. Derma-rolling has healed so many of my scars/plugs that didn't take. One reason my hairline is a bit more reflective is that that is the only are where it took and the skin is a different color. Plugs actually survive the best based upon the plucking studies.

I got butchered so I try to be far and balanced. i saw two great ones, like problem solved for life but you need really high unaffected fringe and diffuse thinners like me don't have that. We have transitional hair. This is so healing for me to see some success with estrogen and micro-needling. I have made a wonderful comeback and I worship a female Goddess. The other one made me bald....

Oh, people differ in how they scar and it is unpredictable. I am sure it's better than baby doll hair and cobblestone plugs with no hair coming out but microneedling is healing them all. It's wondrous.

loss of hair shaft diameter is the first step in the miniaturization process, so improvement in hair shaft diameter *is* substantial regrowth and improvement. My whole point in making this thread was to say that we can be our own worst critics and just because I haven't had as much regrowth as I want (ie in my temples) doesn't mean that I haven't had good regrowth

I am planning on making a different thread with full documentation of my regimen and regrowth over the past months, but to make it short what I've used:

Oral:
Finasteride (later switched to dutasteride, now back to finasteride)
Minoxidil
Castor oil (not so much recently)
vitamins and minerals including biotin, collagen, vitamin D, etc.

Topical:
Minoxidil
Stemoxydine
RU58841
dutasteride (previously finasteride)
tretinoin (previously retinol)
estriol
melatonin
The Ordinary "buffet" peptide serum and hair growth peptide serum
Microneedling

Currently temporarily discontinuing RU, dutasteride (oral and topical), and estriol

No transplant. Do not see myself ever getting a transplant as the cost is prohibitive. Also, the results will be inferior especially in terms of density improvements in hair shaft thickening.
Why would you get one? That's great hair in a male context. Notice how i stress that because if you were MtF, you would still be in the wig most likely. Can you tell me more about Stemoxydine?

Be careful. The Goddess favors those who use estrogen. I would keep a little for good blessings.

When you are a diffuse thinner, it is hard to say. My hair on top might have some benefit but not much but my fringe is much thinner or it was. Derma-rolling heals scars. So I am not cheating, they just moved some around but I lost a lot of plugs and they yanked existing hair to put in the plugs, hardly a net gain. I wouldn't do it now and they oversold but you guys get it.

I had cobblestone scarring all over my head with only a couple of hairs surviving in each one but I swear to Goddess, micro-needling has eradicated almost all of the top scarring. The fringe scaring I micro-needle too. I have a theory that there is cross-talk in blood flow so maybe my individual fringe hairs are thicker now. See they yanked hair and put in where the viable hair was. I kid you not. It was still better than being bald lol. I am being too negative but I can still see a lot of cobblestone scars. They scab over and get smaller after every session. I am coming up aces because unlike my marriage, ever single treatment is working for me and it is a rush.

I have never admitted this before. It was my secret shame to have had to resort to that and then get botched for $5,000 which was a lot in the olden days. That's why I am so giddy. Estrogen and microneedling have taken over and it is great now. i believe in transplants probably only for refinements or high-fringe people. My scarring was mental and physical and everybody could see them. Very embarrassing to me but not for anyone else. This is just my account. At least he gave me my first prescription for minoxidil and that was in 1989.

Of course, if you asked me what worked, I can only shrug my shoulders but mostly MPA, estradiol, progesterone, duta, premarin, the patch, keto, retin-A....

I don't know how to forward a couple but I have lots and in the MtF world that makes me like @bridgeburn because I had my protocols.

But I am a poly and I mean, you guys need info. Will my junk shrink? I don't mind sharing discreetly. I have posted myself a few times nude or topless on trans sites. It helps me affirm.

Look on translater at reddit. I have the same handle. Consensus is that I have been very successful from head to toe or so they tell me.

Why did you stop Dutasteride and RU, if you don't mind me asking?

I started developing gynecomastia on my right breast. I'm on so many drugs that I don't know the root cause of it so I stopped everything that could conceivably cause gyno... except finasteride. If the gyno persists for more than a month I guess I could stop finasteride too, but I will decide what to do when that time comes.

HGH seems like it could definitely have beneficial effects, but I'm nonetheless cautious about it because 1. it could have a slight chance of carcinogenesis and 2. it could cause quicker degradation of cell telomere length resulting in accelerated aging of the epigenetic clock.

I will blog about anything but my hair is coming in so fast already that I don't know how we would ascribe efficacy. Do you have any good links or tell me more....
