The minoxidil side effects thread

Heavy bags under eyes and general feeling that my face was slightly bloated. I rather be bald with a youthful face, than slightly less bald with a haggard face.

I've been on it for a month. I've noticed more facial hair and more head hair. One of the first days I took it, I was extremely dizzy after application and almost couldn't drive. But I have no real reason to suspect that was even related to the minoxidil.

I sometimes got dizzy with the 2% minoxidil but never once with the kirkland 5% off ebay.

Being off minoxidil for a few weeks there's definitely a general well being that was not present when using it, I felt out of breath easier and the skin on the face was definitely harsher although I can't say if it was related to collagen being inhibit or if it was the vellus being longer. Also I always felt an itch around the eye sockets, don't know if it was irritation from the alcohol in the liquid version.


I've never felt itch on the scalp or irritation, was almost an year on it.

The worst sides I had was looking dead all the time. My face was just destroyed, saggy eyes, dark circles and deep grooves. After 3.5 months of quitting it has cleared up a lot but still not to baseline.

Never experienced any side effects when I used minoxidil to grow facial hair.

Was on it for 2 years. Stopped about 8 months ago. But had bloated face, saggy skin, bags under eyes etc.

After using skin supplements and upping my cardio everything pretty much when back to normal although I do have some forhead wrinkles .
