To be clear. Im using the multi peptide serum 2/3 times a week. So no confusion here. And if you look at the ingredients closely and research it you will see that they have an effect on dht.

Im also using saw palmetto around 2 times a week. Maybe that is where the confusion came from.

I suppose you use topical Saw Palmetto? How do you use it? Any vehicles? Plus, did you check your DHT blood levels before?

looked up the ingredients, doesn't ring a bell to me. If you don't mind, which of the ingredients have an effect on dht?

I don't think so. It has no alcohol.

Hi Doctor House - I currently mix my RU into a couple of mls of Garnier Stemoxydine, do you think I could add a few drops/1ml of the Ordinary Hair Serum into the RU/stemox mix, or would it be better to apply them separately?

I would apply them separately. I never mix anything into the serum. I personally just use it separately from my other treatments.

Ok, thanks. Do you think it matters which order I apply them in?
I don't think it would matter as long as you space them at least 30 minutes or more apart when you apply them.

Ahh, thanks for clarifying! I use those too. Would you mind telling which dose you take 2 times a week?
And you stated above that you didn't see much results after 7 months, how has the serum sped up that process?

160mg 2 times a day on those days for saw palmetto. Might increase it in the future.

I think the serum made the scalp environment better. The first thing i noticed was the fact that my scalp wasnt as tight as before. The serum also blocks dht. Its propacil that has this meganisme.

Anybody used this serum with microneedling?

Guys, I've been using this serum for 3 months and I'd like to share my experience.

I started the serum after quitting minoxidil and I have lost all minoxidil gains. I've photographed the top of my head on a fortnightly basis and over the last three months, things have become gradually worse. Things are now as bad as they were last April when I started the minoxidil, and we're talking really bad!

I knew I was taking a risk with this. Lesson learned.

However, from about 1 month into using the serum, a fine carpet of peach fuzz appeared on my scalp at the front. This has not changed for better or worse and motivated me to carry on. I don't even know if the serum is responsible and it can only be seen in certain lights.

I would like to start minoxidil again. For those that are using both minoxidil and TO, are you worried about the possible incompatibility between minoxidil and the zinc (or other components for that matter) in the serum? Has the serum enhanced/complemented the effectiveness of minoxidil?

I'd like to continue to use the serum for another couple of months but I'm becoming anxious about it's effectiveness! :-D Any advice would be really welcome.

Your results are amazing man! And all from oral 1 x microneedling week, oral SP/beta sis and The Ordinary serum 2-3 x week? I think these photos will convince a lot of people to give this ago. Are you still using Regenepure? Anything else you think might be helping? lifestyle changes, etc? Really impressed.

I use minoxidil with the serum but I never put them on the same time. I have noticed better results when I use these two together but not at the same time. I would try to put the serum on at night and use the Rogaine Foam during the day since the foam acts like a thickening agent. The serum is best for night time use. Unfortunately, minoxidil is long term and if you can't commit to at least once per day(that is all I do) then don't bother with minoxidil.

Thanks for responding @DoctorHouse - that's really useful. I think I'm going to carry on with the serum and reintroduce the minoxidil. I'm keen to keep gong with the serum because we're starting to see some positive reviews and the paper comparing the combined peptides has shown some exciting results. However, the one thing I know for sure (at least for me) is that the serum is not capable of maintaining minoxidil gains alone although I'd still like to use it as an adjunct - perhaps minoxidil and the serum make a good combo.

Using the Serum now for apprx. a month. Made some pix before, and one yesterday, but since there isn't anything to see other that my hair grew longer naturally i won't post them. Obviously 4 weeks isn't enough anyway, thought i would just leave a mark here and protocol my "progress" here every few weeks.

I shaved my head 2 months ago and the longer it grows out now the more i can see how thin my hair on top really is. Hope i can maintain and refill a bit of what is there. I also made a ket lotion with ethanol and ket shampoo and been using it for about a week now. My male pattern baldness affected hair looks a bit more oily than the rest, which is strange to me, but probably completely normal. At first i thought this might be from the ket lotion or something.

I think the serum creates better scalp conditions. My head has always been so tight and hair really thin after puberty. My hair is still improving but not all is because of the serum. I think the serum is like a fertilizer for the scalp.

Exactly. The peptides help rejuvenate the scalp. That will promote a healthier environment for hair growth and rejuvenation.

Alright i increased the saw palmetto to daily but thats not working out. Getting puffy nipples and lost a bit of libido. Im taking zinc and red ginseng now to compensate for to much estrogen.

The serum is still making my hair feel ten times better and stronger.

Although I finally retired from posting from this place, I wanted to share something I found that is actually worth trying. Not only that but it's very inexpensive for how much product you get. It sells for $17.90 for 60ml supply. I use about almost close to 1ml all over each night. My scalp looks and feels healthy and no itchy scalp. And my hair density is actually improving. Been using it for about 1 month. If you look at the ingredients you can see it has peptide complexes that were created by some other 3rd parties in the past.

Here is some info about it.

This concentrated formula is designed to support hair health so that it looks thicker, denser, fuller and healthier. The technologies present in this formula include REDENSYL™ complex (with Larix Europaea Wood Extract and Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract), Procapil™ peptide complex (with Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1), CAPIXYL™ peptide complex (with Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3 and Trifolium Pratense Flower Extract), BAICAPIL™ complex (with Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Triticum Vulgare Germ Extract and Glycine Soja Germ Extract), AnaGain™ (Pisum Sativum Extract) and High-Solubility Caffeine (1% net Caffeine by weight), in an ultra-lightweight, emollient base for efficient penetration. The total concentration of these technologies in the formula by weight is 21.15%.

Ingredients:Aqua (Water), Propanediol, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Caffeine, Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1, Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3, Larix Europaea Wood Extract, Pisum Sativum Extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Triticum Vulgare Germ Extract, Glycine Soja Germ Extract, Trifolium Pratense Flower Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Apigenin, Oleanolic Acid, Arginine, Glycine, Calcium Gluconate, Zinc Chloride, Lactic Acid, Gluconolactone, Dextran, Maltodextrin, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Xanthan gum, Pentylene Glycol, Dimethyl Isosorbide, Polysorbate 20, PPG-26-Buteth-26, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Sodium Metabisulfite, Sodium Benzoate, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin.

I would definitely not use this in place of minoxidil or finasteride but as additional treatment to fight hair loss at another angle. For those who suffer from Hashimoto's thyroiditis or age related hair loss, this would definitely be beneficial.

Still loving the product and ordered more. How many droppers do you use?
