That ad is horrible, for real or a joke? But it's true, being pretty shaved screws you up. Playing on real insecurities there.

Just the other day I read on slybaldguys where one member goes that I have never met anyone who shaves and wants their full hair back. Not only that, another one goes it made him look younger and no more hair worries. But why do they all sport huge beards and sun glasses then? He goes I am bald by choice lol.

This is a brilliant ad :woot:
Really drives the knife in.

Aside: A similar ad for women (lets say on weight) would never, ever be greenlit.

Good find Isaac.

There was another ad I saw many years ago about a horseshoe girl, with the narrator going "if you don't find this attractive, why do you think women will find you attractive?" Anyone have a link to that ad?

Hit the nail on the head: society doesn't respect baldness.

I like this ad,this is the truth...awesome ad..

One girl who was friend of mine avoided me and said something about baldness,i didnot even proposed her as i liked another girl. She is now married to a full head hair guy though he looks like he is in 40.

You always look better standing next to bald man,i agree 100 %.

how do you think they did the market research for this ad, visit hairloss sites and hit them where it hurts.

It's nothing that none of us havent already thought of, but ya to a bald man trying to pickup a chick and then that commercial comes on, that would really suck.

That's actually pretty funny. From front view I think the bald guy doesn't look too bad although his head shape is weird from the side.

But his features are not masculine. Look at his weak eyebrows (mine are even weaker unfortunately).
Also the dude sitting in the beginning with the grown out horseshoe. Another non-masculine face.

What a despicable advertisement, there's no respect for men who suffer from baldness in the real world.

Hmmm you're right. Statham I think has faint eyebrows. He's an enigma though.

Thankfully I have very strong eyebrows. Like Colin Farrell level.

I think Statham has eyebrow loss, they were not THAT thin originally.

His chiseled face makes up for it. Basically you need something to yell "testosterone".

Makes me sick. The advert is unacceptable. Open discrimination against us is becoming more and more encouraged and embraced. Make an equivalent advert for women with small boobs, small ***, acne, who are ugly, short, tall, or whatever and see what the response would be from both women and manginas. Feel like a broken record even talking about this. Weak spineless men in the world allowed this to happen a long time ago.

It's a pretty funny ad. If nothing else I appreciate it's brutal honesty. No sure if it's legal though. I remember seeing some ad for a moisturiser in the Telegraph one day, "he thinks his lines make him look distinguished... She thinks it makes him look old" I'd never seen an ad so brazenly exploit people's insecurity before, but marketing people are bastards, and should, as Bill Hicks once suggested, suck a tail pipe.

yea i wish i didn't find it. i saw it on the side of an unrelated website x.x

i thought it was really ****ed up. at first i didn't have the stomach to watch it more than 30 seconds through.

and cap you are definitely right, NOTHING like this would ever get through if it was for girls

also WHY THE HELL do baldies like the ones in the commercial joke on themselves like that? its infuriating because they make it acceptable in the first place x.x

i guess the levity helps

Actually they want people to discuss about openly hairloss in real world...
I think they want full heads to talk hairstyles amongst eachother, as the word "loss" was never in their statement.... how about instead, get people talking about bald bashing in the media and how that directly coorelates to bald men being descriminated and disrespected in real life. Its hurtfull. Its damaging and it is nothing less than slander.

Showing the cold hard truth is only acceptable in society when it's done in a funny manner. This ad shows the pain of baldness.
