Hey, I had my appointment today at the doctors, all I can say is ‘thieving gypsies. They said its going to cost me £45 a month for propicia, and that proscar doesn’t exist, and even if I’ve seen it on the internet I shouldn’t touch it. They also got two doctors in the room to talk to me about the effects of propicia, apparently, I might get boobs? Aching bollocks and even a chance of impotence lol I’m starting to think to myself, £45 a month? Is it really worth it? Well in my eyes yes it is but, is there anywhere cheaper, on a safe website where I can get hold on propicia? Thanks for the help

50% of dermatologists are idiots, ignore your problems and have no clue about hairloss. I can almost guarantee you, about 50% of the users on HairLossTalk.com who have been registred than at least half a year know more about hairloss than those "doctors".

Try an other doctor to get a prescription of proscar.

Thanks for the reply. The 1st time I saw a doctor, he refused to give it to me, he basically said losing your hair is a way of life, deal with it, you dont need propicia it dont work blah blah blah, then these other two doctors told me all that and when I mentioned proscar, they looked in their book and said it doesnt exist, but I know it does

I had a lousy experience with dermatologists, too. Basically, they couldn't care less about my problem (some of them even made jokes about it) and prescribed shampoos and lotions that didn't work. I spent a small fortune for nothing. So, I decided to do some research and found out about finasteride and minoxidil. I've been using these meds for over 8 years with good results.

If you want something done, you have to do it yourself.

I agree, I need something, not cheep, as things like this dont come cheap but something that I can afford, £45 a month is taking the piss, ive tried for nearly 7 months now, anymore and ill be buld, I bloody need PROPICIA lol A false presrciption, how do I go about this? anything, please, im lost lol no GP can help me, as i've learnt the hard way. Anyway what are the chances of getting boobs and not being able to have kids? I'm 20 and do want kids one day, I dont want this happening

The main concern for dermatologists is skin cancer, followed by skin abnormalities. At the bottom of their list is acne and hair loss, because they are considered cosmetic and not life threatening and in the case of hair loss, not easily treated.

That's right, but it shouldn't be considered cosmetic. Hair loss is no joke and can a have a dramatic impact on a person's quality of life.

Moreover, the majority of their patients are hair loss sufferers. We are the ones filling their pockets, so they should show a bit more respect and concern.
